Pizza Pros — Restaurant in Mississauga

Pizza Pros? I don't think so. Pizza Amateurs or Pizza Try-hards would be more suitable. I'll start with how I fell for this place. Someone in a Facebook group was asking what's the best pizza place in GTA and a couple of people mentioned this place. I thought they were recommending this place honestly. Little did I know that they were most likely friends and family trying to get business for this place. I visited this place yesterday, and this is clearly one of the worst places for a pizza. You can yourself tell. Look at all the five star ratings here and you'll see that majority of people who rated them five stars have only given one review on Google. Definitely friends, family, or bots. Now let's talk about what I purchased from here. I ordered 2 large pizzas (3 toppings each) and 20 wings. The crust on both the pizzas wasn't consistent. It was thick in one corner and thin in the other corner. First pizza had tandoori chicken and Italian sausage toppings. Tandoori chicken was hard and flavorless. And they were stingy with Italian sausage topping. Second pizza had spicy beef kabab, smoked beef strips and ground beef toppings. I could only recognize ground beef. I couldn't differentiate between smoked beef strips and spicy beef kabab. They were just mushy. Pizzas were 0 out of 5. Let's also talk about their wings. I ordered suicide sauce with wings and I was expecting some dead hot spicy wings. Turns out, the suicide sauce was sweet. Definitely not suicide. Even my 5 year old child ate the wings easily without complaining that it's hot. Size of the wings was not consistent. Some wings were extremely tiny and some were medium sized. With that being said, wings were cooked well and I still somewhat enjoyed eating them, even though the sauce was not hot at all. I would rate their wings 3 out of 5. Ambience was not bad. Customer service could have been better. The employees were having a bit of care free attitude with couple of guys wearing masks on their chin and others not wearing masks at all. XL Meat Lover's (add mushrooms) and Supreme (add spicy kebab [beef]) are my fav flavours.

~6th visit: Got the XL supreme pizza. Added spicy kebab (beef). Tasted great. Nice crisp pizza.

~5th visit: Got the XL meat lover's pizza. Added mushrooms. Pizza is nice crisp dough, and good cheese layer. Meat Lover's and Supreme are my fav flavours.

~4th visit: Got an XL pizza with spicy kabob, tandoori chicken, and smoked beef strips (future don't get beef strips, it's small cubed and lame), a 2L pop (Orange Crush) and 30 chicken wings (honey garlic). Wings tasted good. Pizza was mid - it's a nice middle eastern flavoured pizza (but cheese is low quality and quantity, same with the tomato sauce, it's good if I want some tandoori chicken flavours on my pizza, but this is not a buttery cheesy pizza experience). Pizza is cooked crispy here, and I like that. But the 30 chicken wings box, I have to remember to hold it horizontally in the vertical bag. The employee didn't tell me and I held it vertically like a person typically would, and when I got home, the sauce on the box containing the chicken had leaked everywhere in the bag. Also chicken wings are small (2 - 3 bites) but meh, whatever. Still good.

My two young daughters, my wife and I, ordered our regular pizzas and wings. We are regulars at this Brittania location. Shortly after having dinner, we ALL had stomach pain which lead to diarea. Some of us started throwing up and I wish I could tell you what did this to us as we ate everything that was delivered. We knew it was the food because we didn't eat anything prior. Seeing what my family went through, I am so mad. This is just the beginning of a no choice one star review. The owner refused to speak with me. An employee said sorry, we had issue with the dough. I called 3 days in a row to speak with the manger but he refused to speak with me. An employee said he would call me back which was said all three times I called. Scariest part, they acknowledged there was a good issue but advised sorry about your luck. My wife and kids are ok now, 3 days later of food poisoning. For people with children, be careful. I will be contacting the ministry of health and safety and report this until they can be hold with accountability. Extremely upset and they just lost 4 households business in the area.
