This particular location should just sell surprise bags, because you never know what you're going to get. If by chance you do actually get the order you asked for, go next door to the Irving and buy a lotto ticket, because it's your lucky day.
The manner which they handle their food follies probably isn't worth the money. Why? Suppose you're like me and place a drive thru order for a family of 5 for the better part of $100, and nobody gets what they asked for. The solution is eat it, tell the store and you will get a free sandwich, because they value you as a customer. Uhm, thanks for the sandwhich, but I just wasted a lot of money to get it.
FF to using the free sandwhich letter... "Sorry, you have to buy a meal with this."
Hoping to see change, I went again two days ago. Nuggets and a quarter pounder. My burger was cold and old. It was 100% not fresh. I got a burger that someone else did not, but I wasn't surprised. Having just wasted another 18$ on a sandwhich and 6 nuggets, I decided to not waste my time and go through their customer service circus.
Be like me, save your time and money, and avoid disappointment by treating yourself or your family to another location or restaurant. The Dieppe blvd location is probably the best service you'll ever see from this franchise. It's not just the chain, it's the culture of the location, and it starts at the top.
If this was just an occasional thing, I'd be much more forgiving about my review, but they haven't changed in years, making it evident that they still get enough business to not have to make changes. Too bad because the atmosphere is lovely and some of the staff are great. They're just bootstrapped by a rubbish policy.
Friends don't let friends go to that location. Be a friend to a friend next time someone suggests...
Read moreReceived a caramel iced coffee that tasted like water. Asked for another one. Employee did not agree and said she had put 6 shots of caramel flavour in it. Insisted on getting another one as both my passenger and I only tasted like water. Without saying a word, she closed the window. She returned several minutes later with another coffee which tasted like water. We waited until she came back to the window at which point I said I simply wanted a refund. Other employee came to the window to process the refund. Asked for the employee name so we can make an official complaint tomorrow. We were told they do not give out employee's names at night. Don't know why, but we made a complaint to that employee. She did not say a single word to us from the moment we asked for another coffee made properly. She was visibly irritated by us. We will call tomorrow to speak to the general manager. Girl with brown hair in a pony tail working the drive-through window at midnight tonight, well there can't be many assigned at the window at that time. She needs a refresher or proper training on customer service. If someone tells you their caramel iced coffee taste like water, don't tell them you put 6 shots of flavour in it and just expect them to say "oh, okay, I'll be on my way then", no, just say you'll make another and move on. People make mistakes. The other iced coffee we had tasted way too sweet. I'm thinking 12 shots were put in that one and none in the one tasting like water. Anyway, I'm calling tomorrow. I'm not gonna tolerate a teenager with an attitude like this. Hope she learns a valuable lesson she can carry on in her career - ya can't just say "too bad" and walk away from your clients and in the real world, it will...
Read moreAweful!! Just aweful. It's a long story but we had just returned to Moncton from vacationing in NS. We had been driving for hours and we were to tired to cook supper. It had been months since I'd last eaten at McDonald's because of a previous bad experience but I was too tired to care. We order, 5 meals, 4 of them 10 pc chicken nugget meals so we expected to wait for nuggets. They pull us up, we wait 10 mins. As the employee is bringing our food out she dropped it all but 4 of the fries on the floor. It all had to be thrown out, I understand, accidents happen, it's not that that I had the issue with, it was the unbelievable attitude she gave us because they had to remake our food. Like we did something wrong. So we wait another 15 min!! Finally she brings our food out, we thank her because we are polite and we start to pull away. As we're leaving I check the bags and this time we're missing the 5th meal, a big Mac meal, so we have to turn around and go in this time. It was unreal how rude they were this time!! LOL!! We pay 65.00 for garbage food, have to wait almost half an hour to get it, have to turn around and go back to get our missing meal and they have the gull to be annoyed and angry with me. LOL!! I'm more of a kill em with kindness type of lady so I was ridiculously pleasant through out the whole transaction but this, this almost pushed me to my limit. I promise you I will NEVER spend another dime...
