We went on a Saturday afternoon, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. That should have been a sign. We have been to Rossano's before but it was the other location closer to the mall in Dieppe. We enjoyed it there. This location, still had some Christmas decorations up, hasn't seen a renovation in quite some time (a lot of brass circa 1990) and I think our waitress worked there since then.
We weren't overly hungry. We split a decent size nacho plate and a small pizza. We didn't order any alcoholic drinks, but when we said we just wanted diet Coke or Pepsi the waitress just raised her eyebrows and appeared shocked we weren't drinking.
Our drinks arrived, and the food came soon after. We ate the food, but I was looking for a refill. At no time did anyone come around to ask how the food was or anything. Eventually the waitress dropped off a small pitcher of pop. That's fine. We finished the nachos, but not the pizza. We'd take that home.
We probably waited twenty minutes or so and eventually our waitress came back, she asked how the food was and we requested a box for the pizza. She asked if we wanted dessert, we declined, and again got the surprised look from her then she says "oh, so no drinks and no dessert, that's interesting."
We both told her we don't like to order booze with our dinner and we don't drink a lot to begin with.
She leaves.
Ten more minutes pass and she finally comes over to the table with the bill. Not liking her attitude we didn't tip, paid the bill and left.

Read moreLast night was a few firsts for me! Never been there before. Never had a visual of deserts offered on the spot in my life. That was cool and served on a chilled dish too! Right away I jumped on the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. Zero regrets on that! Also a first for me was service THAT impeccable. Always attentive but not everbearing. Staff coordinated bringing out meals together like a synchronized machine with a steady flow! I don't think any of the tables had to wait long for their food or drinks! Very comfortable atmosphere without feeling cramped either. Good seating. Big Stop sized massive portions and at great prices too! I was shocked at my bill. Plenty of variety to choose from, depending on your preferred palate. While booking we had selected a mobility accessible reservation as I'm on crutches at the moment, to which our placement upon arrival was on the upper level but had the worlds easiest, lowest 2 or 3 steps up plus sturdy railings. I had zero issues! We were graciously offered a lower area seating option right away to accommodate our group even though it looked full. We appreciated the prompt offer but respectfully declined. Again, I had zero issues navigating up and down the 2 super low (helpful design) steps. My absolute favorite new place in town!!! No wonder my family are regulars! Bravo to each...
Read moreWe had a 4:30 reservation for 4, we arrived right on time and we're shown immediately to our seats, we were greeted warmly by Riley who took our drink orders and was back with them straight away. We had a leisurely very enjoyable time, we ordered Goat Fingers, bruschetta, and two bowls of the Italian Chicken and Tomato soup. Everything looked and tasted delicious! Everyone sampled all the appetizers and loved every bite. I especially recommend that soup! After being given plenty of time to enjoy the appetizers and a couple more drinks. Our entree orders were taken. I had the spaghetti and meatballs my friend had the 5 meat Penne, and both our wives ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. It is plainly obvious that all three of them were prepared from scratch recipes for the sauces which were absolutely delicious, serving sizes were plentiful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. All 4 of us agreed that it was one of the best dining experiences we've had to date and for the amount of food and drink we thoroughly enjoyed, the price was very fair! Highly...
