My daughter has a bowel disease ,and needed to use the washroom. One of the girls let her in and there were 2 stalls. She was quite a few minutes as anyone who has this knows that when the attacks start you need to get to the washroom. The girl a few minutes later opened the door and told her she had to get out of the bathroom because she was too long. She told her about her condition and the server told her people were waiting, and she answered that there were 2 stalls. The Tim Hortons employee said only one person is allowed in the washroom at a time. I called to speak to Manager but was told she wasn't in the store. I buy coffee and donuts at this location almost everyday, and sandwiches, and bagels ,I spend alot of money there and good tips but I will NEVER RETURN THERE AGAIN. I will drive over to McDonald's for coffee and sandwiches and stop at Sobeys or the Tim Hortons in Irishtown, this behavior from a person who is supposed to have customer service first is not very professional. She probly had the attack from what she ate or drank from there as we go through the drive thru and she needed to use the washroom inside. The employee could have had more respect and a bit more consideration. But when you can't relate to another person's condition, its time to...
Read moreToday, I had a distressing experience at this store where an employee, Jessica, prepared my food and drink without changing the gloves she had been using for cleaning. When I politely pointed out to replace my food, she became aggressive, shouted at me, even throwing the bagel and coffee cup towards me and spilling coffee from the lid due to the force she used.
She even showed me middle finger (as can be seen in the picture attached) while I was talking to the supervisor and she went back to her cleaning duties. She threatened me and at one point I felt she would hit me after realizing I took photos to document the incident. Throughout all this, the supervisor did little to address her behavior, he seems to have been scared of her somehow and did not utter a word to stop her.
This experience has left me so shaken that I don't think I'll ever return to a Tim Hortons location again, and I plan to share this incident with everyone I know. I am still in shock and feeling humiliated that she had the audacity to behave that way so openly, probably knowing from experience that she can just get...
Read moreThis location urgently needs serious management attention. My first visit ended in a refund because my order was unacceptable, and I was even told I couldn’t get a cold brew after 1 p.m. simply because a staff member didn’t want to make it. If it’s on the menu, you should serve it.
Today I gave them another chance and ordered a Farmer’s Breakfast Sandwich. First, they forgot the hash brown. When I went back, they added it, but now the sauce was missing. I felt embarrassed going back again and again for one simple order.
The worst part isn’t the mistakes, it’s the attitude. No genuine apology, no thank you, no accountability. Instead, staff spoke to each other in another language while giving me looks, called me “sister” in a way that felt unprofessional, and blamed “the previous person” for messing up my order.
I’m not asking for world-class hospitality, but basic customer service should be non-negotiable. A manager needs to train this team to own their mistakes, show empathy, and serve what’s on the menu or risk losing...
