Wendy's — Restaurant in Moncton

Fourth review: Had to go since this location just had a complete makeover (July 2025). Both Pat and I enjoyed the new look. Everything inside and out is new. Always enjoy the staff service and pleasant essence the employees givee off. Both Pat and I enjoyed each of our meals, as always. I still highly recommend this restaurant. Third review: Chili was back to its regular self. Thick, but not too thick and purely delicious. Had the chocolate frosty on the side, as per usual. Pat and I decided to eat in, and we had no regrets. I was surprised to see my chili served with the grated cheddar cheese on the side (in a little cup), but when I thought about it, it was much better that way. Allowed me to add the cheese where and how I wanted. I also believe it allowed for more chili in the cup.

Second review: Came for my regular order of chili topped with grated cheese and chocolate frosty. Hot and cold, love it. For the first time ever, the chili was far too runny. It seemed like it was watered down way too much. I've always been taught that runny chili is a sign of freshness at Wendy's, but this was far too watery. First time ever that I've put their chili container to my lips and drunk a lot of it down. Still delicious but needs to be thicker. Beans even looked white rather than browned. More like chili soup than chili.

First review: Always reliable food fare at this fine fast food restaurant. Been going to Wendy's for my chili with cheese and chocolate frosty for as long as I can remember. Learnt that (from an actual employee) the runnier their chili is the greater the chance that it's fresh. Older chili thickens as it gets reheated each day. Till I was told this I always thought they were chintzing out on the main ingredients. This place always seems to have fresh chili which is fine by me. I was in a week or so ago and received my order completely wrong as the staff working were unable to understand English. It was to be replaced but upon visiting this afternoon; they had replaced with the same small size of fries and drinks, (I originally paid for large fries and drinks for both double burger means). I will be complaining to corporate as my wife called to mention this and the manager, an older woman, hung up on her with out offering to accept the small fries and drinks in exchange for what we had paid for. Cheap labour does not equate to happy customers and sometimes, you have to ask yourself is it worth losing the quality of service? The individual who had wrote down the replacement after I spoke with the Moncton district manager had also failed to write down the ‘correction’ (proper) order. We will be visiting a diner from this moment forward as they at least have the decency (and competence) to get an order correct the first time. It’s such a shame as I truly adore Wendy’s when we get a “treat day”, the children do as well. We must eat here at least once a week, lately it’s been nothing but problems at this location. My husband and I went to Wendy's for a late dinner after his work. The restaurant was well maintained and clean. The ladies washroom was also well maintained. The person who took our orders was very pleasant and the rat of the employees there seemed to be happy. I actually witnessed them help each our out a couple of times. 1 time was when another employee had her coat and purse ready to leave out the door. She stopped and went over to the garbage to help the other employee out with replacing the garbage bins with new bags. O even mentioned it to my husband. If I knew their names I would have gone to their manager and pleasnt remark about that team work effort. Very impressive! Our meal was fine except both of our large chillies were super waterey!!! It was more like liquid soup not the regular Wendy's chilli that we love and is always a regular on our orders. Very disappointing. On the good note, we enjoyed the baked potatoe and burgers.
