Ok, so this place is cute BUT... the food definitely did not match the description in the menu. My husband is a professional chef and we love to try all foods, but when the microwave goes off as many times as it did we already knew our food was not going to be good. He ordered an extra cheesy burger and when it arrived the cheese sauce that is dripping down the burger top was all Seperated and currdled 🤢 he proceeded to give it a try and so did I. The whole burger tasted microwaved, my french toast sandwich was definitely not a Sandwhich and it too was soggy and seemed microwaved as the cheese on top was bubbled like it would have been had it been microwaved. Anyways the food was Not good, we pushed our plates to the side of the table. We continued to wait a long time for the server to come back to check on us,and when he finally did we expressed our dislikes on the meal, so he went and printed our full bill without even saying anything to the owner / cook, he just looked at us and said the prices are the prices. Look, we love food and we've worked in the food industry so complaining is not something we regularly do but this server should not be working in the restaurant industry. We did speak with the owner/chef and she was VERY polite and understanding and did not make us pay for our meals, which we of course left a $20 for their time and we will not be giving this menu another try based on the service and food quality.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Whynot BU Café today at lunch. I was cheerfully and professionally greeted and was offered any table that I wished. This is a dine in restaurant and is relatively new to the area. It is clean and modern inside and is nicely decorated. There are a number of two and four person tables. Large green plants adorn the center. It is a good place for a casual coffee and dining experience with a good friend. The service was excellent from the time I entered to the time I left. The food options are ample, focusing on breakfast and light lunch items. They use fresh, healthy, quality ingredients and prepare them expertly. I had the Korean Bulgogi Eggs Benedict. It came with a green leafy side salad with a light vinegrette dressing. The plate was beautiful. The food tasted very good and went down easily. I had a very nice cappuccino with it. Everything was fabulous. I will be back soon with my wife to have a special meal. This restaurant is a gem.

A small café in the city center. It struck me as a cozy place with pleasant, non-intrusive music and nice lighting. There aren't many tables, only about 6. In the center, there's a small island with live plants, which freshen up the interior. We really liked that. The only downside was that some of the plants by the windows were artificial, which slightly spoils the impression. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, presented in a modern style. They immediately serve water, which is much appreciated. And we especially liked that the chef brings the dishes to the dining area. It would be nice to see more appropriate coffee cups that match the café's style. Also, we felt that the signage at the entrance of the establishment doesn't correspond at all. As tourists, if we hadn't seen reviews before visiting, we definitely wouldn't have entered the café because the exterior doesn't reflect the atmosphere you'll find inside.
