Located in the beating heart of downtown Moncton lives this truly amazing boutique hotel. Walking distance from any and all amenities should you require: banks, food, drinks clothes, ect.
Upon arrival quick notifications to my phone gave me all the information required, accessible parking secure building with free on-site laundry. But let's talk about charming decor.
As soon as you open the door to the building you can see that Capital Robinson pulled out all the stops with impressive lighting displays and the use of long curtains/ drapes make you feel transported.
Once we arrived to our room we were surprised to hear smooth jazz playing on the entertainment unit. With a balance of modern amenities and the flair of decor make us instantly feel like we're home. It was nice having lighting with dimmers to make the experience comfortable with us. A new heat pump keeping the temperature right, a mini bar and full kitchen, dual shower head and a lovely queen size bed. My fiancé was particularly excited about closet space and the wonderful make-up station with comfortable seating and ring lit mirror, with loveable make up mirror (made date night great,)
Thank you Capital Robinson for such an amazing stay, do yourselves a favor and book here next time your in moncton, cheap and affordable, but above all else...
Read more3rd stay at the Bower on Robinson and will also be our last, unfortunately.||The time before this, we were sent into a room that hadn't been properly cleaned. The garbages were over flowing, the floors and coachs were dirty, etc. We called the number provided to us and were given another room. Not a big deal, we still proceeded to go back a third time.||We stayed here November 10-11, upon arriving I realized I wasn't given the codes to get into the hotel, so I called to ask for them. The lady was anything but nice, almost making it seem like it was my fault.||We enter the building. Go to the room number listed in our email and the key for the room isnt there. I call again...lady on the phone tells me to try the door. A gentleman opens the door to the room that HE is staying at. Again, lady on the phone makes me feel like this was my fault. She gives us another room number. Room was clean at least, but we werent given the complimentary breakfast that was listed in the Expedia ad.||I get it, sometimes things happen and maybe we just have bad luck. But I also know proper customer service and I dont feel like this was something the workers or owners at the Bower on Robinson excelled in.||We wont be going back despite the...
Read moreThe access codes to this building and rooms need to be constantly changed! A valid concern was the lack of security regarding the room codes not being consistently changed. Upon arrival our travel companions found squatters in their room. Much discussion took place within our group over this weird experience only to be told that the codes did not change from the last time they were there in November 2023! I have no doubt the trespassers are aware of this unchanged code for this rental facility. It was easy for them to wait for an unsuspecting paying guest to open the door to exit the building or open it to allow squatters access. Also, with one key, my partner and I couldn’t have secure access to our room if we were attending different events and different times. If you put the key in the lock box for the other roommate to have access to when they arrived back at hotel anyone can access the key with our items in the room. There was an uneasiness that the building wasn’t secure and if someone were dishonest the key could be duplicated and used at any thief’s convenience whether you are in the room or not. Beautiful little apartments, clean and tastefully decorated, however, the codes not being secure makes for an...
