3 Brasseurs - Anjou — Restaurant in Montreal

Came for dinner on a Friday around 6pm - it was of course fairly busy. Was asked to sit at the bar as I was dining alone; not a problem.

However: the bar service was horrendous. I have no idea if there was only one server, or if there were four and three just are too scared to talk to customers. The vast majority of the time most of them were just moving around glassware. The main woman who did eventually (after 20 minutes waiting) say hello, and take my order, had no charisma or interest in serving me as a customer. None of the other staff behind the bar would even make eye contact. It took 10 more minutes to get a Diet Coke. No refills were offered on my drink at any point. After I had finished eating, I sat there with plates cleared trying to wave at someone for my check — again, waited waited waited. 15 more minutes went by and I finally took out my wallet to make it more obvious; had to wait another 10 to finally make contact and pay.

All this is even more disappointing because the food quality was quite decent! I could have easily had a glass of wine or two as well, but when you can’t get anyone’s attention to take your order…...

Word of advice: Encourage other restaurateurs that are struggling because of the pandemic. STAY AWAY! Was on a date night last week and ordered the candied bacon burger. Instead of receiving a juicy 2 patty burger topped off with a runny egg and a sesame bun; received a plain bun burger with 2 overcooked patties (that a teenager working at a fast food joint can do a better job @ cooking), topped off with an egg that was cooked through and a quantity of bacon you could only spot using a microscope! Was on a date night and was asked not to make a scene at the restaurant so I shut my mouth and ate my meal. Tried contacting their customer service … all I learned in the 5 days that I reached out to them was that they use Zendesk as their customer support platform… or should I say… were trying to use Zendesk as their CS platform… not only did they have no idea how to use this tool… they clearly had no intention of retaining their customer base… Worst 100$ I...

Sooo me and my family went there for my mother's birthday! And I made the reservation - it went super well! We were assisted and helped throughout the whole experience wether it is from the meals the young lady recomended us to small accomodations throughout the night! The food was amazing, we ate super well! The drinks (one had coffe, one had beer and the other one cola), were served reasonably fast, and didnt feel/taste watery. The "atmosphere" 4/5 is because it was slightly too loud in ny humble opinion but it did not affect our family night out since we had a great time!

Also - we were able to chose the seat (we had a reservation for 3-4 and once arrived we specified that we would like ti have a window, not too "closed away but not too much in the way" seat and they served!)
