Allô mon Coco Pie-IX — Restaurant in Montreal

Went today as our last spot before leaving Montereal on Thursday September 21 at around 11:10 AM. One of the staff who was serving us who is tall and blond was extremely rude and aggressive with us today when I changed my mind about having a coffee instead of the cappuccino !!! It was a normal thing that customers can change their mind but that doesn’t mean that they should be punished and have an over billing!!! That type of behaviour is not acceptable by the waiter and as a customer I should be treated with respect. Besides, She gave us the wrong order as we ordered 1 pancake and 1 French toast with fruits but she gave us the crepe with fruits instead of the pancake with fruits. At the end the waiter wasn’t supposed to force us pay the tips. She insisted that I had to pay 15% tips claiming that me and my friend has 2 separate orders but the tips itself should be a voluntary act and not to be imposed to be paid but I didn’t say no but I was not happy with how I have been treated from her. First and last time in this restaurant. Very rude waitress screaming as she likes , correcting customers ( sorry me) . A hair in my food that I didn’t make big fuss about. When I got tired of her behavior I went to the manager who nicely apologize but unfortunately didn’t change her despite my request to do so. She instead continue coming to my table nagging and having a condescendent behavior , blaming it on the fact that her English isn’t good 👀👀and that she would rather speak to me in French since she heard me speaking it. Continue speaking to a customer behind me ( apparently her mother that was visiting that day) said she was sorry for the situation , but that I was only 1 in a thousand . Also told her ( probly for me to hear) that the manager that came to my table was only one of the 3 associates and note the majority owner 😏. Overall bad experience. Not to be reniewed! I had an awful experience at this restaurant today. From the moment we sat down, our waitress (Demi, as noted on the bill) was inattentive and unprofessional. She asked us twice if we wanted coffee because she forgot about us the first time, then served another table that arrived after us before even taking our order.

When the coffee finally came, she spilled it on the table and left the mess. My fiancé’s beans were forgotten, we were served bread we didn’t order, and the bill had two extra plates added, almost doubling the cost of our meal. Thankfully, we caught it before paying.

The service overall was unwelcoming. At one point, she even told a nearby table that she never remembers what people order, so she just brings out food and asks who it belongs to. That summed up the entire experience: careless and disappointing.
