Do not eat here!! Worst taste and worst service! We tried it for the first time tonight, we usually go to the one in south shore but since it burnt down we went here. I ordered the souvlaki chicken pita combo and received the gyro combo. When I asked the server why it is a gyro and not a souvlaki she said because that’s what they serve and I should have been more precise of what I wanted. (Even though I ordered the souvlaki). She then proceeded to say that they do not make chicken souvlaki pitas. Just gyro. While my boyfriend received his 2 pork souvlaki pitas no problem. The gyro was disgusting and tasted like boiled chicken. I traded with my boyfriend to eat his pork souvlaki. I couldn’t eat that either, each piece was only fat.
I asked for a side of tsatsiki for my fries and the server said no, they have ketchup and mayo and that I have sauce in my sandwich, I don’t need more sauce.
The worst was at the end when I went to pay. I explained the issue and showed her the menu and how it said chicken souvlaki pita. She was shocked as if she never saw this before. She lied and said she had asked the cook and even he said it didn’t exist yet now he clearly said of course it does. She said she was sorry and didn’t understand why I didn’t tell her I wasn’t happy and wanted to change my order. My boyfriend and I were in shock. We both asked for the correct order and she clearly said no it doesn’t exist.
I then asked she remove the sandwich from the bill. She laughed at me and said no. Then when we confronted her about this she said she offered to remove it.
THEN...she tries to charge us for 3 souvlaki pitas and 1 gyro!! She didn’t know how to use the computer. Nor figure out how to punch in what we ate.
Finally she figured it out. And said sorry but she doesn’t work here. Why are you serving us if you don’t work here!? And is it my problem you don’t work here or don’t know anything? Is it up to the customer to know? I am shocked. Never had such a disgusting experience. This place should...
Read moreSadly, I have downgraded this location, and in general now I am not support this chain restaurant any more. I had had it out with the manager at the location close to my office in Laval in January because they jacked up their prices for souvlaki pitas by 33%. Sad, despite them having been my "go to" place for ordering souvlaki for lunch regularly. That stopped when they went and increased their prices to well beyond the going rate for souvlaki pita at other restaurants, they're up to $7.99 for a pita when others are $5.99. But that was the Laval location, the LaSalle location didn't jack the price up the same way. Of course the Laval location is the head office location, I guess when I told them the LaSalle was cheaper that they told me I was wrong. They probably have insisted that LaSalle stop making them look bad. Nevertheless LaSalle has now also increased their prices but not nearly as much as Laval, pork pita are now $6.25. But why complain you might ask? Well I am also going to claim shrinkflation, they only raised the price by $0.25 each, but they are putting less of everything inside too. I should weigh a souvlkai from the LaSalle location to compare it to one I buy now from Marathon which is clearly bigger. I am pretty sure it isn't my imagination, as I asked my wife and she seems to agree they have cut the size. Same size pita, with a smaller amount of pork, hardly any tzatziki, pitiful (but not really, ha great pun) amount of tomato and onion. It's not the first time I was thinking that they've decided to make their portion size smaller. All I can say is that Arahova is no longer on my "go to" list in Laval or LaSalle now. I don't know what management is doing but if the competition is doing something for less, gives you more and is at least as good why would I bother with the hassle? Oh well, at least I still...

I should have looked at the reviews a before ordering. Ordered 2 platters directly on their website and paid by entering my credit card. The photos and descriptions (see attached) said they come with GREEK salad, potatoes, and tzatziki. When I arrived to pick them up, the man at the cash hardly acknowledged me. I had to catch his eye from his computer/phone/whatever was more important.
Got home. It was a house salad (no feta, no onions), no tzatziki, and it was regular French fries. I called to provide feedback (Monday April 17 8pm). The man can barely communicate in English and uses non professional French.
First he wants to find my order. He insisted I placed the order on either Uber Eats or Door Dash, and that they never take payments on directly on their website. I don’t even have those apps installed and told him to check his own website to see that’s it’s possible. He aggressively said they don’t accept payments on their own site and that I am mistaken. He finally found my order under his Door Dash list (he must not know that his own website may use an API or something for orders). And says that by default it’s a house salad that’s included and that all other options must be selected. Apparently I chose the wrong thing. The website explicitly says it’s Greek salad, and there is no option change it.
I cut my loses and ate the dry platter. Don’t even want a refund anymore of it means dealing with them again. Customer service is non existent and they play victim and blame you when a customer brings up feedback. I’ll take my business...
