Visited on August 10, 2019, in the afternoon. Located in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, just south-east of the Olympic Stadium, in a large building housing many business. Little history, at one time they were associated with Oshlag and they were both owned by Groupe Glutengerg, but they just recently became independent and have associated with Jukebox, ironically Avant-Garde and Glutengerg are in different parts of the same building (also not the same addres). Their spot is at the north-west part of the building, with its own parking. The inside, what was a former bingo hall, is a mix of 60's 21th century decor, plenty of tables and chairs, but the bar has no seats. The have a large window overlooking the brewery room and they have a Nintendo 64. They offer their own and Jukebox, in 3 oz tasters, 16 oz and 10 oz for extra strong or small batch, what they have is very good and well brewed. You can buy cans to go, they do have (but not that day) some rare stuff. Food is very limited, snack mostly. Very good service. A welcome addition to a very small beer scene in...

The service… Oh my. Worst waiter ever? He seemed disappointed from the minute we walked in. When he was serving us our food, he was almost throwing it to the table, paying 0 attention to us. As he didn’t ask, the bills were split incorrectly, but I guess he didn’t give a f. I always leave tips, even if the service is mediocre or the food doesn’t meet my expectations… Not this time, because the waiter made me and my friends feel unwelcome.
There are plenty of other breweries around where the staff will treat you better.
We had dinner there the 25th of June, it...
Read moreWe really wanted to love this place. It's really close to our home and the idea of artisan beer and napolitan style pizza is great business concept.
The beers that we had were had great flavour and the selection was vast.
Unfortunately, the pizzas were very dissapointing and came up short. We've been there several times now and had the same experience both times. The problem with the pizzas are that they are charred and burnt. As a result, the sauce and toppings are overshadowed by a burnt pizza flavor. We observed other customers who had ordered pizza as well having the bottom of their pizza burnt. Would not come back for the pizzas, if they can improve the pizza, I think this place...
