Ramona Pizzeria — Restaurant in Montreal

i've been a customer here for nearly 20 years and i must say this place has been on a steady decline for many years now. prices have consistently gone up (every six months) and quality has seriously and steadily suffered. Never was a 2-4-1 joint and though Ramona was always slightly more expensive then your average pizzeria the prices were justifiable based on the superior quality and portions offered at their pizzaria. Generous portions of cheese and toppings are a thing of the past. Prices have soared to a point i no longer wish to afford them. I do i know most sauces if not all sauce are home made and they certainly don't lack in taste. If you are fortunate enough you will have the kitchen lady whose been there for as long as i know cook up your food, otherwise the staff turn around is mental.speaking of which the current staff is absolutely the worst, loud and obnoxious type with complete disregard for its customers in the shop. I witnessed loud fights and outburst between the drivers lounging around in the very small dining area. i can go on, and on, and on after 2 decades of patronage but to what end ? i hope Ramona finds its root to the once family owned and ran restaurant it once was and offering the supreme quality in quantity it once did. it's been around for 50 or so years by their claim. I would say its withstood the test of time respective to restauranting. i've noticed in recent time operating hours change from late nights ( 2 am - and 4 am ) to 12 Am. It would be shame to see...

Like almost everything these days , this place used to be good, as in past tense. Just ordered for the 1st time in years and asked for a well done pizza , received a severely under cooked one despite having a pretty thin crust. The super special , all dressed with italian sausage, onion, and hot peppers.

Despite the massive amount of toppings it was pretty much flavourless. Flavourless dough that seemed like something from a frozen pizza..flavourless italian sausage and pepperoni. Having been rushed through the oven , the barely cooked veggies and soggy , uncooked dough .. will not be ordering again. Wrong drink delivered as well and no ketchup...

My order: Medium pepperoni pizza 4 chicken wings Small cajun fries Smal onion ring

First of all, the service was super good, delivery guy was friendly, the guy who took my order too. The cajun fries are amazing. They're basically homestyle fries with spices on them, 10/10 The wings were on the dry side, but have tones of flavor. 9/10 The onion rings are garbage, frozen and soft. 4/10 The pizza. Put on your life jackets, it's sauce time. Seriously, the cheese was good, the crust was nice and crispy, but the sauce man. It was amazing. And they put gallons of it on the pizza.
