I rarely leave reviews, but this sushi buffet was such a disaster that I feel compelled to warn others. My family and I (a group of 6: 5 adults and 1 child) went here for a birthday dinner, and it ended up being one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We paid $39.99 per person for dinner, expecting a decent buffet experience. Instead, it was anything but that. First, you order through your phone, and they bring the food to you. Simple enough, right? Wrong. We didn’t receive half of what we ordered, and when we asked about it, the service was incredibly slow. No one bothered to apologize for the inconvenience or even acknowledge that there was an issue. The only thing we were told is to order as much as we can as the « kitchen was closing in 10 minutes » The worst part? We left the restaurant not even feeling full! How is that possible at a buffet? Given that we were a group of 6, it was also mandatory to leave a 15% tip, although we were clearly dissatisfied with the service. Adding insult to injury, they overcharged us, counting 6 adults when we clearly had 5 adults and 1 child. The food itself was hit or miss. The sushi we actually received was decent—some pieces were salty, but the torched salmon sushi was the standout. That being said, we couldn’t even enjoy it because many of the items, especially desserts, were not available. If you’re going to call yourself a buffet, at least offer what’s advertised! The cocktails? Nothing special. The yuzu drink tasted like rotten orange, which was revolting. The only redeeming drink was the strawberry mojito, which was surprisingly good. What was meant to be a fun birthday celebration turned into a disaster. Six of us left hungry, frustrated, and feeling like we wasted our money. If you want a proper buffet experience, skip this place and head to Manga Bistro or K2 down the street. Both offer better service, you get what you order, and, most importantly, you leave feeling satisfied. We are extremely disappointed and won’t be returning. Absolutely not worth the $39.99 per person. Save your money and...

WARNING : PREDATORY STAFF THAT WILL DEMAND TIP AND CALL IT SURCHARGE. THEY SAY GROUPS OF 5 GET THE SURCHARGE BUT WE WERE A GROUP 3. THEREFORE, AS PER THEIR OWN TERMS, IT IS NOT A SURCHARGE, BUT A TIP. AS PER Act respecting labour standards – Section 50 on gratuity etc. (Loi sur les normes du travail, LNT, Sections 39.1-51.1) du Cnesst, A TIP IS NOT MANDATORY, AS SUCH, IT IS A GRATUITY. THE FACT THAT THE STAFF WILL CONFRONT YOU ABOUT IT MAKES THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE VERY IRRITABLE, SAY, EVEN BORDERING ILLEGAL. Horrible service and experience. Ordered at 9, waited until 11, and nearly half our order was missing. they said they forgot but kitchen was closed, so it was oh too bad so sad moment. One waiter literally told us it is what is, and he’s right honestly. It sucks, but that wasn’t the real problem. Was gonna leave a 10% tip out of courtesy for the staff. and just leave… that was until I got held by the waiter demanding an obligatory 15% tip. They say a 15% surcharge is added to tables of 5. We were 3. When confronted and even brought up, may I add, their literal own terms and conditions (where the surcharge was added to 5 or more, not 3) They caved. Let us go. Ended giving nothing because what the hell is this. I don’t know what this predatory service is where 2-3 waiters come to you DEMANDING a tip is, but you should be careful going forward… For anyone who went here and got literally “forced by staff to the point where they gang up to intimidate you in tipping”. as multiple seem to have had this experience, I suggest writing a formal complaint to the OPC. Takes 5 minutes to do. A restaurant doing this type of shakedown is not okay.

FYI. Don’t be mistaken by the high review. They have a get a free drink if you leave a good...

Wanted to like the place but ...

Bad service : We tried to call to make a reservation since they don't have a website, without success we decided to go to the restaurant and were told they were fully booked and to try to call them during the night. They said this with 4 tables opens. Called again 45 minutes later and got told to go right away that they could seat me, arrived and the same 4 tables were open and looked unused The hostes is rude even if we stay polite all the way. They waiters will bring random food to you and leave right away. Tried too stop them twice because I wasn't going to get charge for things I did not order. The system to order is also horrible, resetting itself randomly, leaving one with no way of knowing what was ordered and what is on the way. This added to the fact that food takes forever to get to you, almost makes you question if your order went through or not. Even trying to pay takes an eternity, at the time the restaurant was almost empty and the waiter was talking with his friends that were on another table and giving them shots.

Bad food : You know is bad when the table behind us, paid and left, leaving tons of food behind. Nothing really stood out as amazing, most of the "different" sushi rolls tasted the same, and I'm pretty sure the fried tempura wasn't cooked, and it was saggy.

Bad ambience : the first floor is decorated with club lights that are directed at people's faces... They rest of they decors is nice.

I have been trying the restaurants in this neighborhood for two years now, I loved them all, this has potential, maybe just opened and they still getting around but at least give nice costumer service... Costumers...

This was my first ever “all you can eat” restaurant and I loved it! Our whole table ordered what we wanted on our phones and it came within 10 minutes. My favourite thing I ate were the chicken wings. The wonton soup and mussels were also very good. My table ordered a variation of sushi’s which were also very good. The general tao, spring rolls, beef & chicken skewers were amazing!! When we ordered our second round of food, we assumed it had not gone through but we asked the waiter after 20 minutes if our order was coming and he had said yes, but it never came. We ordered other things after that though. The ice cream was also super delicious as a dessert! We were a table of 8, so our total was $56.79 per person, which I think is worth it for the amount of food we got. The restaurant itself is very small and any noises made in the kitchen is heard around the entire space but the workers were very kind! Would recommend but personally, I would like to try another all you can eat restaurant the next time.

Well well well! I have a lot to say about this AYCE restaurant. My opinion is mainly based on a group experience, and honestly, I do not recommend it at all. We were 13 girls celebrating our friend’s birthday. As for the food, I’d say it was good, but it could have been better. Where things really went downhill was the service… We were not treated well at all. Honestly, it felt like we were bothering the staff. The worst part is that near the end, the orders we placed weren’t even being served anymore and this happened multiple times, lol. Their ordering system also needs serious improvement. For 13 people, we only had 2 QR codes to order, but the dishes were brought to random spots, and there was no way to track anything. We were even told not to order individually but as a group… Which is really weird because in other AYCE places, that’s never been an issue. The wack part? When we ordered ice cream for dessert, they brought a few scoops in a huge plate with mixed flavours and we had to divide it ourselves into small bowls. That’s honestly unacceptable for the price we paid. On top of that, we were forced to pay the bill all together, there was no option for separate payments. And this restaurant doesn’t even follow the new tipping law: we were charged tip on the post-tax amount, instead of the pre-tax total. I’ve attached pictures as proof. Honestly, this is an AYCE to avoid especially if you’re coming with a group. Bon bon bon !
