Boulangerie Le Petit Breton — Restaurant in Montreal

I have come here a few times for lattes, and I have been disappointed each time. This morning I came for a mocha with oat milk and at first they said they didn’t have oat milk which was fine, but then they went to make my coffee and had to come back again to inform me there was no chocolate, and they didn’t have anything in stock and so I decided to get a latte. I also got a double espresso for my boyfriend, and when I opened them, they were the same drink. The picture below shows the cup with the bottom line being where my latte ended and the upper line being where I had to put my own milk and reheat. I was looking forward to going to this bakery for a while. It was very disappointing. They couldn't even make a coffee properly, their machine kept on not putting any espresso into the milk.

I tried the almond croissant. It was actually stale. They said it was fresh. It was not crispy. The filling which was supposed to be almond was actually tasteless. And the bottom of the croissant was not crispy at all or flaky, It was stale like it was sitting there for a long time.

Wow! I’m myself from France and it’s one of the few places that reminds me of my childhood. At last a place that have both Fraisier and Strawberry shortcake as 2 separate cakes! The owner is super nice and gave treats to my 4 & 6 old kids and within a minute wrote a happy birthday sign to go on my son’s cake.

And the pastries tastes so amazing! My Italian girlfriend was thrilled also to have pizza.
