I was once a little orphan child living among an indigenous south Sudanese tribe. Growing up, the adults never really paid much attention to me. I had to figure out how to take care of myself from an early age. Before I could scavenge food for myself, a protective mother chimpanzee that I called Bonobi took me under her bicep, kept me sheltered and fed. A typical end of the day meal for me and my little adoptive chimp brethren consisted of a mix various grasses, herbs and wild nuts. This was my daily meal for years. By one horrible October morning, when I was a little older, hunters raided our village and captured my beloved Bonobi, never to be seen again. I cried for days on end. The one thing that kept me alive during this rough period of my life were nuts. They reminded me so much of Bonobi. Thus, many, many years later, when I was shopping for nuts and nut accessories at my local Bulk Barn, I happen to stumble upon a handsome, well bodied nut salesman named Andrew. By my life’s experience, I knew that this young gentleman knew his nuts on first sight. He showed me the generous selection of nuts that this Bulk Barn had to offer. It took me back to the days of Bonobi and our daily nut snacks. Andrew took really good care of my nut needs that day. I hold this Bulk Barn in high regards and near and dear to my heart for all the sweet memories that it and Andrew nuts brought back to me. Bonobi would have been proud. I would definitely recommend this Bulk Barn to my friends. I will surely come back to this fine establishment for my...
Read moreMy grandmother was diagnosed with stage II leukemia. This strong, charismatic woman was the hero who had raised me after my parents had died in a car accident when I was 5. She's an intelligent, charming woman with a heart of gold as well as my role model and inspiration. I was absolutely devasted by her diagnosis. My world had rapidly turned upside down and I felt as if my heart had been ripped out of my chest. What a cruel joke by fate, to first take my parents followed by the only family I had left. I stopped working to take care of her, cried myself to sleep every night for weeks until she was finally accepted in a clinical trial with a novel gene therapy, CAR-T. With Gods grace and thousands of prayers she was cured by this miracle treatment! I jumped for joy and shouted in ectsasy, thanked God, the doctors and rejoiced in her health.
The feeling I had at that moment was nothing short of great, however, it pales in comparison to the feeling of great elation I got when I visited Bulk Barn and was greeted by a warm host called Andrew who gave me a tour and went above and beyond any sales person I had ever seen. I almost felt like I had met a member of my long lost family, a home away from home. From that day on I vowed that bulkbarn would be my number one shopping destination and experience, I even took my grandma who always goes to get her...
Read moreI am so disappointed from the last purchase at this store!!! They charged me almost triple the price for the products I bought! I am a regular customer of this store and it is the second time that they are messing up with the prices and quantities. When the cashier told me the price I had to pay, I felt that was to much, but I didn't say anything. When I came home and weight the product by my self, I noticed that she had charged triple the weight of every product! I checked my scale by weighting bottle of water in order to make sure that there no problem with my scale. I didn't go back to talk to them, because since I left, they might think that I changed the quantities by my self at home. I feel so disappointed that I paid so much...
