My husband and I came to Café Dei Campi back in April 2024; we're both vegan, and always travel with our dogs - in fact we were in Montreal for a dog show. We picked this cafe because we saw it bench seating outside that was dog-friendly, and that it was fully vegan (we've been vegan since 2016). We had no expectations at all, but our minds were blown. We lived and travelled throughout Europe for seven years - mostly we were not vegan during these years - and the pastries at Café Dei Campi rival the very best we've had in Europe! They gave us a taste of our European past, and our gastronomic past as well - we had triple check that we were in fact eating at a fully vegan cafe. Don't get me wrong, there are many incredible vegan options out there and we've been able to check out places in Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto, and all over the USA since moving back to Canada in 2018 - but until we came to Montreal and Café Dei Campi we hadn't been able to find pastries that tasted just EXACTLY like the nonvegan version. Now, we accept the burden and blessing of these thibgs existing at Café Dei Campi, and for us that means that we now regularly commute three hours there - and three hours back - just to get our fix. Thank you for existing Café Dei Campi, next step is to please spread you craft!

This is one of my favorite places in Montreal, and such a hidden gem! I've been taking here and recommending this place to everyone I know, and in turn anyone who tries it becomes obsessed with it. For some time, I would come here every weekend and walk about 35 minutes each way just to eat here. Food: absolutely delicious. I'm from Italy and their food just brings back all the best memories I have from my home. The pizzas are my obsession and every week they change their main dessert, always hitting that sweet spot in my heart. Ah, did I mention that all this is 100% vegan?? 😍 Drinks: if you want to try an authentic italian coffee, come here. Staff: Nico the owner is always super kind, smiling and I always enjoy to chat with him in Italian. The rest of the staff is also very kind, despite the busyness of the place. Tip: avoid coming between 11am and 1pm as it's usually the busiest time, unless you do takeout. Unfortunately they don't have many seats, but then again, if you are not rushing, you are able to get one eventually.

Very friendly service and a great selection of pastries. The coffee is good too. The biscotti is perfect. The chausson is a bit too sweet for me but they’re very generous with the filling which i appreciate. Their strawberry tart is very good. Their pizettes are good too but I got served one that was charred (basically burnt though). I had their beetroot sandwich and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in my life. I’ll be back to try more of their savoury stuff for sure. I wish some of their stuff was a bit less sweet but overall really lovely. Their granita is so sweet it’s impossible to drink in my opinion.

I don’t have the words to articulate how pleased I was with my recent experience here. We ordered a latte, an americano, and numerous baked goods, including mini pizzas, focaccia, and chocolate croissants. Everything was absolutely incredible! It is so rare to find a fully vegan cafe that offers this level of quality, especially at such a fair price point. Even though it was very busy when we visited, the employees were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that we had a great experience. Absolutely phenomenal place with some of the best food I have ever eaten, and greatest coffee I’ve tasted. If I lived in the area I would surely...
