What happened yesterday?

I’ve been a loyal customer for the past 15 years and I’ve never been disappointed—until now. Yesterday’s experience was truly awful: the phone communication was poor, the food took an hour and a half to arrive, the delivery person didn’t have change even though we were asked to pay cash, the rogan josh smelled and tasted off, the chicken madras was terrible, the chickpeas in the chana masala seemed straight out of a can, the rice was mushy, and everything was cold by the time it got to us.

Can you please explain what went wrong? After waiting an hour and a half, we ended up throwing away nearly all of our $90 meal.
