I left an honest review of my experience and was replied with excuses of being anew business. Please be aware that these owners will retaliate against criticism. I am leaving my review at the original 3 stars because I am an honest person, unlike the owners of this shop. Shame on you

60% of the times I've been, I've waited at the counter for over 5 minutes with no one there, ended up just leaving a few times. I've noticed that the hygiene isn't up to par (I've worked for over a decade in several restaurants and bars) , handling money and then the food with bare hands, putting pieces of food back into the bag after it had fallen on the counter, oil all over the display glass, bread sitting on the bare surface and uncovered, unrefridgerated items left on the counter all day, dirty dishes left on the tables and front counter etc...

As for the food, it's okay. Pastries are overly buttery (personal preference) salads are mediocre and the focaccia pizza is underwhelming.

The prices for the sandwiches are outrageous. With tax and tip, a sandwich can be over $20.

The service is fine when they're actually there to serve customers. Both owners are amicable, but seem overwhelmed.

Seems like they focus mostly on cakes, and the rest of the food items are a bit hastily put together.

I do appreciate that they offer more affordable meals for the students across the street.

Overall, not really impressed. I've been there about 10 times, and left after a long, unanswered wait about 4 of those times. Although it's very accessible for the Grover building, I've found myself taking a walk down the block to other restaurants nearby.

I will return in the near future to see if things have changed and will revise my review. Good...

I tried this place today for work and it was so calm, has internet connection, electricity plugs, and a perfect smoothy (blueberries, oat milk and chia seeds!🤤) for the hot summer! Great options for those who want drinks with no sugar! The food looked amazing too, i just didnt order any this time. Definitely going...

As soon as I entered, the lady at the front welcomed me warmly and was very nice. She took the time to explain to me about how she made the pastries and bread which I really appreciated! I took a pistachio latte with soy milk and it was delicious 💚I definitely...
