Théâtre Prospero — Attraction in Montreal

Théâtre Prospero is a nice venue. I have been a few times in the past year and I always came out satisfied with my experience. I am always entertained.

The good : Small venue, great atmosphere. Everyone in the audience is always respectful. Nice installations which allow original concepts to be put in place.

The not so good : It doesn't always happen, but sometimes the room gets really hot towards the end of the night. Like, uncomfortably hot. Also, the rows of chairs are lined up one behind another, which means the person in the row below is directly in front. If that person is tall or has a lot of hair, it can make the experience less enjoyable. Finally, the prices at the bar are really high.

J’ai assisté à deux spectacles dans la salle principale et, à chaque fois, j’ai été impressionnée par la direction artistique et la mise en scène des différentes pièces. L’histoire qui m’a le plus bouleversée est « Ces regards amoureux de garçons altérés » dans la salle intime. Quelle claque ! La prestation de l’acteur était bluffante, la mise en scène impeccable. Un immense merci à toute l’équipe et aux comédiens pour cette magnifique...

J'aime à la fois la programmation de ce théâtre et le lieu où il se trouve. Il est facile d'aller voir un bon spectacle puis de prendre une bière ou de manger à proximité, ainsi que de se promener dans le parc.
