Cantinho Express — Restaurant in Montreal

Went there with a work colleague for lunch. I don't know why it is a 3.9. I think the food was very good. I've had the chicken breast. I've had the burger and I've had the sandwich and every time it was delicious. You have a choice of mild medium or hot sauce. I took the medium which is not hot at all as far as I'm concerned but very delicious. I really don't understand the place doesn't look like much from outside but it's really really good food. I suggest that and I'm a picky eater, a little bit picky. This place is really really good. I'm going to share a picture of our meals. The picture you're going to see is the chicken breast or the chicken leg with the you have a choice of three sides which are all delicious. The service is not super super fast but it's okay they take care of you. They talk to you. They're overall very serviceable and professional. Like I said, the place doesn't look like much, but it's really good. One of those places cover. It's one of those hidden gems. I like to call it so if you go there and you try it and you like it the way we do leave a comment for them. Give them a little five star to help them because they're worthy of a high score online. My wife took the time to place an order by phone and told them i would pick it up by 5pm....figured two hours ahead of time would have been sufficient to prepare the order of approx. 80$. Got to the restaurant and payed for the preordered chicken at 4:48pm after waiting over one hour for my food i asked the kid preparing the orders when mine would be ready and he replies with arrogance that they were very busy and that i would have to wait like everyone else. Yes they were busy for the mothers day rush but they passed al least five clients ahead of me. Dispite the fact that the place was filthy, they had trays of eaten food piled up in a corner flies were roaming all over it..wow was surprised inspectors didn't shut this place down yet. Any ways after being told that my order would have been ready in the next ten minutes...it wasn't...ask for a full refund and swore never to come to this dump again...! stay away they don't care about their clients...thrown food around like they were...

I find myself in a bit of a dilemma while writing this review. After our go-to restaurant closed its doors, my boyfriend and I decided to give its second location a try. Unfortunately, our experience has been quite mixed. The old place set a high standard, though there was an odd situation with a waitress who insisted on dictating tips – that was annoyingly strange. Hopefully she won't be back when the restaurant relaunches. This location hasn't been consistent. On several occasions, we ordered the chicken plate only to find it undercooked in various places. Unlike the previous menu, they no longer offer boneless chicken breast, only boneless thighs, which, for a food enthusiast like me, makes a noticeable difference in taste. The piri piri sauce seems to lack the rich flavors it once had. Despite expecting more from their only remaining location, the overall experience was inconsistent, leaving us consistently disappointed. I am not sure if we'll...
