Really unacceptable service. We called and placed our order (Feb 14, 2020). One hour and twenty mins later we called to follow up on our order and the woman (Mary) told us that all the orders left. Had I not asked her how long ago the order left, I would have hung up and waited even longer for nothing. She went to ask how long ago the order left for my address and I could hear her ask, did you call her. She comes back on the phone and asks me if anyone called me. I tell her no and asked her "call me for what". Looks like they don't deliver to my address, even though their restaurant is in the flyer delivered to my door! The reasons I got for why no one bothered to call back and let us know that they would not be preparing our order was because they were low staff, the girl in the front was new (Sylvie) and didn't know she had to call back, we have four phone lines and they are really busy.
This is really unacceptable. We had to call the following day to speak to someone in charge, which was Bedran. She gave the same excuses about the girl being in training and about the phones being busy that they could not call out. She did not expect her employees to use their cell phones to call a client to let them know this. She said had she been there, she would have called but looks like if she is not there, no one at this establishment is capable of finding a way to call back a client and this does not seem to be a concern of hers (the owner).
If this person is new and in training, I understand if she doesn't recognize addresses, but when they decided that they were not going to fulfil the order, there had to be one person capable enough or left in charge to realize that there were people sitting there waiting for this order?!?? Just so unbelievable!
The worst part of it all was that all we got were excuses. No resolutions or offers to make up for their lack in judgement. You know what might have been a good thing to offer : we are really sorry for the inconvenience and bad judgement but if you are willing to come pick it up, we can prepare it right away and we can offer it at a discount or FREE at this point. Something!
