Just had my company's Christmas party there and I have to revise down my rating a lot. Don't go there with a big party, it doesn't deliver. We chose the menu because of the pheasant but they did not have any pheasant and tried to pin it on us like we had specifically asked for pheasant when it was on the internet for weeks. Overall the group menu is not that great, it certainly doesn't compare to what you get without a reservation. It's really a letdown to pay a lot more than usual for a lot less in terms of food. Staff was relatively helpful but they can't do anything for lack of pheasant or any other failing of the kitchen, but they did try to pin on us that they couldn't find pheasant on short notice even though they had avertised it for a month and still do. The replacement confit duck seemed very pedestrian, they did try to accommodate but no alternative was really good, that for a thing that was $75 per person excluding drinks. In advance it seemed very nice and flexible but that was only because they promised a lot and delivered little, most importantly no pheasant. I would still recommend the place for small parties but definitely not for anything organised, it's a rip-off. Waiting staff were very concerned that we weren't satisfied but they can't do much about it, although near the end they seemed to give up on us, not sure if they were getting tired or not, but at some point there was no wine coming in any more despite numerous attempts to tell them to keep it flowing, I couldn't figure out how to tell them, it looked like at some point they just gave up, just when people were starting to have fun, and then pointed at a bottle at the end of the table as if we were supposed to know it was there and had a responsibility to keep track of the wine. The whole thing was very expensive and quite dire. I'd say it's a nice place for three or four people, not more. That being said, the waiting staff were very nice, but they can't redo the food, and when the night is coming to an end they seem to stop offering drinks or anything and want to go home. It's a nice place but not for groups. It looks like they want to fleece groups. A shame really, we just wanted to have a nice time and paid...
