I simply can't understand how someone can leave a 5 star review of this place unless they are Staff Members, Friends or Family.
I took a poutine and it was horendous. The one I tried was the closest thing they have to "Normal". It was incredibly oily, so much so that the oil could be seen in the sauce akin to gasoline mixed to water. The fries had been overcooked by a good 30 - 40 secs and they had passed golden and were now brownish. The sauce tasted like store bought in which they added a few poorly chosen herbs to make sure it can't be recognized/identified. I left half or more of it uneaten (I usually always finish poutine even when it's not the greatest, if this can be a indication of how bad it really was). It was nearly 28$ with the tip which is very far from reasonable for such a low overall quality. They serve this poutine in a "UnSealed Basket" with paper inside (Like they do with French Fries), thing is these morons serve poutine in this that has liquidy/oily sauce. After about 1 min the paper was obviously ripping everywhereat the bottom because it's obviously not waterproof and I also am poking at it with a fork. This left a very discusting mess on the counter and has to be one of the stupidest ideas ever for a container. Seriously Disapointed...No chance that I give them a second try. I am almost certain that the 5 stars...

When I arrived at 7:45, was told again it was a busy Friday, and they were closing early. Here's the thing. If you are going to advertise hours, honor them. Seriously. You guys have been open for how long and you still haven't figured it out? If you are going to do business, and advertise set times to be open and closed, respect them. Have some professionalism. What really ticked me off about it though, was the total disregard. Like, too bad, no concern that a paying customer was disappointed. (For the third and final time). I will never try to buy food from them again. On a side note, I ended up going to Resto Diane right over on Notre Dame, and when I walked in, not a soul in sight. Owner came up to me, I asked if they were still open, he said yes. Got some very fresh fish and chips, and a filet mignon for the wife, all cooked to order, right at closing time. Do...
