Chungchun Kogo Coreen — Restaurant in Montreal

Very sad to give this place 1 star...

The staff were kind but the kogo were super bland...

This isn't my first time trying kogo from Chungchun. I had it Toronto ( the best ), in montreal chinatown, in downtown and now here on the East side in lacordaire.

And by far this one has to be the worst...

I had 2 classic mozarella ones and it was crazy bland... All I could taste was the bland batter... I even bought one for my dad and he never had it before and told me it taste like nothing...

Not sure if they just didn't season my order or something but it was very dissapointing... was finally happy to have one close to my house but dont think...

I had to take a bite before the photos. This food was too good. This is a cozy little place to go to and enjoy some Korean Kogo. They taste amazing and are very high quality. I had the one that was coated with popcorn chicken and loved it. Great atmosphere and staff. The eating area is clean and well maintained but is a little on the small side. But all in all, it's a great little place to go and have some great food. I would highly recommend it if you have never had...

We enjoyed it very much. Highly reccommend the volcano, the bacon cheddar, and the mozzarella. The Korean fries were also delicious. Clean and friendly atmosphere. My only complaint is the worker who seemed new with short blondish hair constantly touched her hair. I'm not picky but it was excessive and off putting in the food service industry. If you don't wear a hair net please refrain from brushing your hair...
