Forketta Épicerie Gourmet — Restaurant in Montreal

We travelled 40 minutes to come here because we saw the good reviews and wanted to try their sandwiches. When we arrived at 11:50am on a Saturday, we were disappointed and confused to find the store was closed (lights off and door was padlocked). We tried to call them several times but no one answered, and we were unable to leave a message because they don't have voicemail. We checked their social media pages (Instagram and Facebook) but there was no indication anywhere that they were closed. After messaging them on both Instagram AND Facebook, I finally received a response that they were working a private event and "didn't get a chance" to post it on their social media outlets. I just ordered catering for my daughter's baptism! The owner's of Forketta were soo helpful, so nice, and they really went out of their way to make sure they can provide us with their services, as they had another big event to cater too that same day. The food was absolutely delicious and the platters were beautiful!! We got a lot of food for a very fair price! I will definitely be recommending Forketta to everyone I know and will be using their services again for our next big event!!
