IKEA Restaurant is okay for me. Been coming to this location many times than I counted.
The Good: A) Food is always good and delicious and the menu varies from time to time. B) They have many seats available for dining it. They have nice views of the parking lot and other buildings. C) The prices are reasonable for any class. D) It’s an IKEA so you can do shopping or walk around for purchasing items.
Cons: A) Some menu items is not advertised on the website of IKEA. B) Service can be slow on some days depending on busyness and availability. C) They need to add more windows and plants and greenery around the restaurant to make it feel like a home or solarium. D) They need to speak English and have bilingual signage although some employees speak and understand English. E) They don’t stock enough items like Garlic breads or other things on quiet days. That’s a disappointment for me. F) No take away or brining out food.
Conclusion: Love eating and coming here for breakfast at times but lunches and dinner is always good.
God Bless this restaurant and God Bless the people past and present that maintain this place.
Hope they improve everyday and make this restaurant better for the Ladies and Gentlemen.
Gos Bless you all and thanks for reading.

Read moreCons: Going to Ikea is like a social experiment. Finding parking is an exercise of calm composure as you try not to rage at the sparsity of available spots and the amount of U-Hauls/trailers that take up 2-4 of them at a time. There is no real direct path to the section/items you originally set out to purchase, leading to aimless wandering in a wilderness of swedish engineered particle board items. The items are then labeled with names that kind of all sound the same, which adds an unnecessary level of confusion. Then, when you have your loot and try to find the exit, it is only achieved via a circuitous maze of impulse trinket buying bait. Aditionally, if you are unlucky enough to need to return an item as simple as a carpet, it will take up to one hour before you are called to the service counter. You get to have the pleasure of waiting waiting in a large open space with other unlucky souls and their carts full of miscelaneous boxes that are haphazardly (and unsuccessfully) restuffed with planks of pressed particle boards. Pro: Their swedish meatballs are tasty. In summary: I hate ikea and would never want to return. But my spouse loves ikea trinkets, so I will probably go back there in...
Read moreThis is not our first rodeo with Ikea restaurant, and it feels like the quality of food (since we came to Canada in September) keeps declining in quality .... The place needs a decent clean up as well... And also for the service, I had one issue which I found hilarious on Wednesday: I was getting the plant based meat balls for my hubby (usually served with brocoli and veggies) , this time they told me it has changed and will be served with the potato medallions ( I was no stranger to these medallions coz the kids love them but they do contain cheese and are not vegan friendly) soI tried explaining to the lady that they have cheese and I would.like for the meal to be vegan , if they could replace with veggies( they were serving peas) , she completely raised her voice and refused , giving me the ultimatum either withmedallion or I was gonna be extra charged for any other item !!!! I simply refused and spoke to my hubby, he went back and another person gave him the platter with peas...
