I HIGHLY recommend this resto-bar! Last weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of hosting my partner's surprise 35th birthday here. The restaurant has a private room upstairs that can be used for events.

A few months ago, I came here for the first time with my friend. We had dinner, as well as I was able to check out the private room in person. The 1st picture shows a vegan dish - squash & mushrooms. It was SO tasty; I knew that I had to have it as one of my vegan hor d'ouerves. At the time, they ran out of their vegan dessert, but the kitchen was able to put together a fruit dish (second picture) for me. Immediately, I had a real sense of how accommodating this place was. The third picture is one of their cocktails. I can't remember the name, but it was very light and refreshing. I had the cocktail while my friend had the mocktail. I knew that I had to have this drink as my welcome cocktail.

Over the last few months, one of the owners, Stéphanie, and I, have been in contact during the planning process. Planning any event comes with its own stress, but she made the whole experience feel like a breeze. I felt completely stress-free the entire time. I received information in a timely manner, my questions were answered promptly, options were reviewed without any rush to decide, and all accommodations were met.

I am vegan, while the majority of my guests weren't. I had to choose the meat options blindly, but I trusted the food from mine and my friend's previous experience. I was able to choose options from their private summer menu. The fourth picture shows a table of chicken wings and squash + mushrooms that I had as hor d'oeurves. The last picture shows the oysters that I also had as hor d'oeuvres. I chose a buffet option that included rosé pasta, pesto pasta for vegans, striped brass, and pork ribs. For desserts, I chose a chocolate & fruit chia pudding for vegans. For everyone else, it was the chef's choice which I think was a cake. Every single one of the guests had nothing, but great things to say about the food. I was very impressed with the vegan options. I felt thankful that everyone's dietary restrictions were considered and respected.

The private foom is well-equipped. It has a TV that can be connected to laptops with an HDMI cable. I used the TV to play photos throughout a slideshow. The speakers connect to Bluetooth, which makes playing your own music very easy. There are 2 couches, a private bar, private washroom, microphone, photo backdrop, and a foosball table.

Both co-owners, Stéphanie and Mickael, were working the private event from start to finish. This made me truly appreciate management for stepping up and practicing what the preached. It's such a refreshing mindset to witness. They worked and helped without hesitation throughout the night and checked in on us frequently. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the party with the staff's welcoming mannerisms, delicious foods, and the uniqueness of the venue. My partner had an amazing time, which made all of this so much more worth it.

All of us said that we would come back here. My partner and I will definitely become friendly faces. I cannot thank all the staff members enough for a...

In October we hosted our wedding at the event space here and the whole process was amazing. My now wife and I had visited this place almost a year ago when we were first scouting venues.

We were immediately impressed by the food at the restaurant (Phil is fantastic). Plus we really loved the Montreal vibe of the whole place. We spoke to the owners about hosting an event... our wedding. We were the first wedding hosted at La Part des Anges, but the owners were 100% on top of it, accommodating, and they always got exactly the vision we were going for.

The whole team went above and beyond, and Stephanie, one of the co-owners, was essentially our wedding planner. Through tastings and planning sessions, we knew they had everything handled.

When it came to the big day, they took care of everything. People commented on the amazing food and the impeccable service. We are so happy with our choice of venue and we couldn’t be more grateful to the entire team. Thank you for helping make our wedding day unforgettable. I know that we will be coming here for a long...

If you haven’t been to La Part des Anges yet, consider this your sign to drop everything and go. This place isn’t just our go-to local...it’s an experience.

Let’s start with the cocktails...because oh my, they’re in a league of their own. The Solstice, with its dreamy absinthe froth, is hands-down the best drink in Montreal. Every sip feels like magic. The menu is playful, thoughtful, and inventive, with fresh ingredients that make each creation sing.

And then there’s the food. Dollar oysters?! Yes, and they’re fresh, plump, and delicious. The rest of the menu is just as gorgeous...seasonal, vibrant, and executed with care.

But what truly sets La Part des Anges apart is the service. They treat you like family! Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your night special. Every visit leaves us feeling spoiled and smiling, like we’ve been let in on the city’s best-kept (not-so-secret) secret. The 4.9 Google rating should...

Amazing!!! I went for a nice evening out with my girl friends and it was so good. The cocktails are to die for and the chef even came out to accomodate one of my friend with dietary restrictions. I had to comeback for a date night with my significant other and their menu had change since they rotate it seasonally, it was such a great thing to be able to try different options. Only thing I wish they would have had is English menu.. but we were able to manage. The atmosphere is so cozy, the service was over and beyond and the food was just INCREDIBLE. I couldn’t recomment this place more!!

We were there today for brunch. The ambiance and design is great. Excellent service, caring waiters. The food’s design and taste was great. The portions are not big. We tried the Benedictine egg with mushroom and goat cheese. The soup was very delicious. The poutine was good. The taste of millefeuille was great. I was not a fan of their potatoes. The latte was very tasty. We shared a bottle of Champagne for Mimosas. We are going again in two weeks for a birthday party. Try to reserve, there is not a lot of space. You will like the experience.
