Le Cochonnet Mini-Beignets et Crème Glacé — Restaurant in Montreal

The first time I went to this place I tried the tiny homemade donuts. It was delicious and really funny to witness how they are made in front of you by a very welcoming ans smiling waitress (you can see the donuts frying slowly in the machine which looks like a small oil-river separated by “turnstile-locks” which allow them to be cooked evenly on both side).

I really was in the shoes of Homer Simpson for a second 🍩😅

Today I went again to try their sandwich and I ended up trying also their homemade soup of the day which was delicious honestly. Perfectly balanced! Hands down to the chef I need your recipe !!!

Empanadas and sandwich were really good too, everything is homemade there and really accessible for a tiny budget!

I’ll definitely come back to try your other recipes 🙂

La première fois que je suis allée dans cet endroit, j'ai essayé les minuscules beignets faits maison. C'était délicieux et très drôle de voir comment ils sont faits devant vous par une serveuse très accueillante et souriante (vous pouvez voir les donuts frire lentement dans la machine qui ressemble à une petite rivière à huile séparée par des "tourniquets" qui leur permettent d'être cuits uniformément des deux côtés).

J'ai vraiment été dans la peau d'Homer Simpson pendant une seconde 🍩😅😅.

Aujourd'hui j'y suis retournée pour tester leur sandwich et j'ai fini par essayer aussi leur soupe du jour faite maison qui était délicieuse honnêtement. Parfaitement équilibré ! Mains basses au chef j'ai besoin de ta recette ! !!

Les empanadas et le sandwich étaient très bons aussi, tout est fait maison ici et vraiment accessible pour un tout petit budget !

Je reviendrai certainement pour tester tes autres recettes...

Cute little shop with delicious treats and good prices. We had the mini donuts which were freshly made. You get to choose as many flavours of powdered sugar to dip them in as you'd like! Loved our custom order - maple, cinnamon, and chocolate powdered sugar with a hazelnut spread. Highly recommend anyone who's in the area to pop by and try it...
