Le M café — Restaurant in Montreal

I ordered a latte and I got this, now, the price for the latte and how it tasted the milk was burnt.

Its McDonald's type of latte, but the coffee. They use is third wave and good quality dark and medium roasts.

I paid $6 and I really didn't like it, so I politely asked to change the drink to a black filter, and they charged me for the filter.

I didn't drink the latte I told them nicely it's not good. They told me "just because there is no latte art doesn't mean it's bad"

But that was not the point the milk was burnt.

I didn't ask for a refund, they still get my money the $6 I asked for a black coffee which is like $3 so why the attitude?

They told me "it's your taste buds"

I don't know, I come here multiple times I never had this issue, I had great drinks here

I don't know why the two girls were so rude to me. At the end of the day I still lost money, I just couldn't finish the drink, and I didn't drink it because It tastes like McDonald's or Tim Hortons latte.

And as a third wave certified cafe, and nice roasts and beans I just don't understand why I was treated poorly

They didn't reimburse my money but I got the black coffee free, I still lost $3 but like.

But in this situation no proper training was done, service was rude. And I was being blamed for not liking the...

This cafe just got a new admin, so I figured I'd come in and write another review. Though the cafe retains much of its original charm with respect to ambiance, it is a MUCH better improvement as a lot of the clutter has been removed. Its an open airy feeling and for once the pastries are now featured front and center (previously they were to the side).

The food options have been revised, and I can actually see myself ordering food (my previous complaint when Melina used to run this was the focus on ham and lack of other options for those of us that do not eat pork).

I saw a veggie pasta dish and even an elevated salmon bagel on the menu that I will come back for certainly.

All in all, this cafe...

Wooo, we were so grateful that we found this cafe which we always want to have a cafe like this near the neighbourhood.

Looks like they are brand new openings. So far they have bubble tea, pastries and 3 different sandwiches to choose from. Coffee (latte and iced latte) was great. Pastries were good as well.

The girl said they might have more foods coming soon, like 🥗 salads. Will visit again to see what they have. Wanted to try...
