Oishii Sushi — Restaurant in Montreal

Absolutely terrible experience with Oishii Sushi. The fish was stale, especially the tuna hosomaki, which tasted off from the first bite. The rice was cold, old, and almost crunchy, like it had been sitting in a fridge for days. Portions were ridiculously small, and the overall quality was nowhere near acceptable for a sushi restaurant.

To make matters worse, my girlfriend and I got sick from it last night. I’m seriously considering contacting MAPAQ because this is not normal. Honestly, grocery-store sushi would have been a better option.

The only positive point is that I ordered through Uber Eats and managed to get a partial refund. But one thing’s for sure: I will never order from Oishii Sushi again.

Friendly service. Excellent prices. The sushi is the best I’ve had. Every detail is great from the home made soya sauce and dipping sauces to the taste of the rice and the freshness of all the ingredients. We are very picky and this was amazing. They used the same oil to fry the general Tao chicken as a fish or dragon eye , my niece had an allergy reaction because of this , as the dragon eye and the sushi were for me and the general Tao was for her. We went trough a very hard night because of them and there poor food and service , the food was horrible and the experience turned out to a disaster.
