Pizza Dagostino — Restaurant in Montreal

We’ve been ordering from this place for quite some time now. As a local, family-run Italian pizzeria, it’s always been important to us to support them — especially because the pizza really is very good. The quality of the food has consistently met our expectations, and it’s always nice to enjoy something that tastes authentic and homemade.

That said, it’s extremely disappointing to see how poor the customer service has been — not just once, but multiple times. On several occasions, our order has arrived incorrect, and rather than owning the mistake or offering a sincere apology, the attitude has been dismissive. We’ve even been asked to pay for items we didn’t receive correctly, with no offer to make it right — not even something small like an extra order of fries or a discount on the next meal.

It’s unfortunate because we really wanted to continue supporting this business, but it’s hard to feel valued as a customer when the service lacks basic accountability and courtesy. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the food deserves better representation than the...

My friends recommended this place I should go to for a little while before I actually went today. The pizza came out warm-ish, not cold but not hot either. The pizza tasted regular, there wasn’t anything very special about my all-dressed with bacon & onion and I was super disappointed. I am from the south of Montreal on my way to Montreal-North; (@ D’agostino’s that took over an hour by public transpo) looking forward to having an amazing pizza experience but to be honest I should just note that we should stick to our local and nearby pizzeria. We rarely ever order pizza here but we gave it a chance and we regret it. My mom drove there in person, purchased a pizza at 6:18pm and she was still there waiting at 7:35!!! My mom asked the lady at the cash twice, "did your brother forget my pizza? Everybody here who came after me, got their pizza". The cashier said "no we don't bump people up here, and don't worry he didn't forget about you." Finally we get the pizza, and at this point it doesn't even look appealing. Tasted like disappointment.
