Place Tevere — Restaurant in Montreal

The food was mediocre and the portion sizes were large enough. I don’t like the containers they put the food in though. The woman scooping the food into the containers was polite but the cashier was rude: no smile, no greeting. I was the only customer too, so it’s not like the lack of courtesy can be blamed on them being busy and feeling overwhelmed. Even then, that level of rudeness is inexcusable. The cashier was also complaining about her coworker to the other lady, which is just unprofessional in front of customers. The prices are also EXPENSIVE. For a simple plate of pasta and a side of salad it came out to 20$!! I didn’t even order a drink. They don’t offer combos either; all menu items are basically à la carte. First of all, if I could give 0 stars I would. The old lady was already on edge and impolite the moment i ordered even though there was 0 customers behind me. She didn’t specify that the chicken poutine only has one size ( which is big but isnt actually big) the poutine was served on a plastic plate instead of takeout and the chicken was raw and cold. I went back to get a refund and instead of being understanding and helpful she thought it was a better idea to be even more rude and say that I was trying to get the food for free. Customer service is not good. This place doesn’t care about clients.

If you ask or order something they rush yourself to move on. Try to avoid this place if you have other choices because it’s really disappointed to have a sort of experience when more people are behind you waiting for.

We ask a double pizza’s slice service in one plate each.However, the guy us only one, so when asking him about the second one his was a bid mad and merged each services throwing the plate one on top the other.
