Restaurant Aux Sept Bonheurs — Restaurant in Montreal

Snafu. We had ordered among other things Garlic chicken wings and shrimps with almond from the menu as seen online and my SO drove there to pick up. When we opened the boxes at home, the order had been converted to pork spareribs and chicken with cashews. We called again and the lady who answered the phone said they did not make those anymore. I asked why then the employee who took the order on the phone did not tell me so? We had a bit of an argument: Rather than admitting that the young man who took our phone order made a couple of mistakes (maybe he is new to the job?) she was blaming me for ordering the wrong dishes She then talked to the owner who offered a $10.00 credit when the total of the errors is over $20. The bottom of the paper-bag was soaked in oil as well. This said, the food itself was not bad and plentiful. We were disappointed by their attitude. I think they ought to make sure their online menu is updated and that anyone who takes orders on the phone KNOWS what is available. A little good faith would...

I am greatly dissapointed by this restaurant. I ordered there on june 18th 2020. We ordered 2 chicken fried rice, 1 chow mein and 1 spareribs. We arrived after thirty minutes and got our order. We got back home and started to open up everything. Fried rice was okay. Chow mein was instead a chop suey.... And the spareribs... Well i am still looking for the meat. It was fried bones. I can't believe i recieved fried bones. Are you kidding me right now. What kind of service is that. I used to love this restaurant but you lost me...

This place is awful. We ordered chicken chow mein and it didn't have any noodle in it. We speak Chinese so we know 'chow' means 'fried' and 'mein' means 'noodle'. When we complained, they screamed at us and we had to call the police.
