The cauliflower cream had too much nutmeg, and the combination did sound weird.
Unfortunately, the service was awful; my pregnant girlfriend did not receive any soup or salad with her meal even though it was included, and the waitress was passing through like a shadow, so we couldn't even tell her or get our glasses of water/drinks refilled.
I'm not blaming the waitress, but she was obviously overwhelmed, and the "side staff" didn't seem to help at all. It was a "not their tables, not their problems" kind of vibe.
