Excellent food! I'm not in the area very often but I needed a quick bite to eat and it was getting quite late. Happy I stumbled across this place and that they were still open and willing to serve me! The lady at the counter was so nice and friendly and certainly didn't have to be, at the end of the day, after what was probably a long shift. To all those complaining in the reviews section. Be thankful you have a place like this close by to you, that is still around after surviving a really tough year in the restaurant industry. I would kill to have this kind of food near me! But it is non-existent in my area. The fish with butter sauce was top notch! With diri kole, pikliz and perfectly cooked plantains on the side. One word...

I went there to buy some food, Gouter Caraibes really has good food, but, yesterday early evening on June 26, there was a new girl, it was the first time I saw her, pretty, but my God such a rude, rough and dry server employee. She answers like she wants to beat you up. She doesn't know what is a good Customer Service. Another girl came by and ask her: "did someone come here to help you" she answered "No". Was she that mad because she got no help? But lady I can tell you, this is not a way to serve people. The atmosphere was tense because of her way to respond to the clients. Si j’avais su. Je suis passé tellement de fois devant ce restaurant et je ne suis jamais allé parce que la façade et l’infographie ne m’attire pas. Le stationnement est terrible aussi. (Si je devais évaluer la bâtisse, la localisation, la décoration et le service à la clientèle, j’enlèverai bien 1 ou 2 étoiles facilement). Concentrons-nous sur la bouffe.

Qui l’aurais cru. Je suis donc tombé dessus sur UberEat, ne sachant pas que c’est ce resto alors j’ai commandé.

Quel agréable surprise! Mon repas était tellement réconfortant et délicieux. Tout les éléments étaient bien assaisonnés, savoureux et goûteux (griot, riz collé, sauce, pikliz, salade de macaroni). J’ai moins apprécié la banane plantain sucré molle, mais je ne le considère pas car le repas en soit est délicieux même sans cette banane!

Rien de pire que de tomber sur un mauvais plat (riz sans goût, viande sans assaisonnement, sauce fade etc.), eh bien, ça ne m’est jamais arrivé à cet endroit. Alors si vous hésitez encore, je vous le recommande vivement! Après 3-4 commandes, je n’ai...
