Today, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, I visited this buffet with my family. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of our expectations. Not only was the food selection limited and the prices high ($117 for two adults and two children under 11 years old, without tip), but the owner's attitude significantly spoiled our meal.
The incident that marked our visit occurred near the restrooms, where I was waiting for my young son. I had left the door ajar so I could intervene if necessary. Without a word, the owner abruptly pulled the door, trying to enter while my child was inside. When I explained the situation to him, instead of apologizing, he responded with arrogance, asking me not to lean my foot against the wall, disregarding my reason for waiting there.
His response "it's my business" when I asked if he worked there reveals a blatant lack of consideration and respect for his customers.
I am extremely disappointed and find such behavior unacceptable for a business owner. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would have given 0 stars if it were possible. We will certainly not return to this establishment.
I must insist that the incident I described indeed occurred with the owner. Before leaving the restaurant, I confirmed with one of waitresses that the individual in question was, in fact, the co-owner of the restaurant, identified as the father.
This confusion regarding the identity of the owners does not diminish the unpleasant nature of the interaction we experienced. I hope this incident will serve as a point of reflection to improve how customers are treated...
Read moreWhy i choose to put 1 star is that food is not really Turkish its like food from Maghreb countries. Meat was really dry, chicken was dry for a buffet at least they can take time to marinate the meats a day or 2 to make it trnder. The salads were blend no sauce. They could add 2 or 3 different salads sauces next to the bar , the only one or 2 salads that can taste something were mixed with mayonnaise. They had a section with fried vegetables and fish { it was sardines, with no taste i suppoe they were frozen ones). The fried shrimp were ok. Beerage machine was not totally working since the taste of Crush, Shwepps and brisk was off. The only positive about this experience is the baklava desert was Turkish. The bar had one choice of baklava. The images in instagram ir google was may be months ago or during opening the quality now is not there. The service was basic of buffet , they just clean your table when its really full with empty plates.
The price was...
Read moreWe came here with a group of friends and we were pleased with our brunch experience today. I tried quite a number of things from the buffet spread and my favourites were their prawn dish and the good old pilav and bulgur.
We found the mezzes to be very good and their salad selection were fresh.
We started of with the buffet spread and after a while, a waitstaff came to take our meat order and I have picked the pirzola (lamb chops) and they were underwhelming as we personally found it to be very overcooked and tough to eat/chew. My husband had the doner and it was just not good enough.
Thankfully, their buffet spread made up for what they lacked in the meat section.
We would be happy to return and I hope they will improve on the meat area (main course).
Given the existing inflation and price increases everywhere, we feel that the price was reasonable and would recommend you to come with your family/friends to check out this place for...
