Flamant Crêpes — Restaurant in Montreal

We came in as a family of 4 and every one of us enjoyed the food at Flamant Crepes. We got 2 salmon crepes (without onion), 1 flamingo crepe (without cheese) and 1 Mexican flavoured crepe. All of our crepes were stuffed to the brim with meat and other toppings. Our favorite part was the freshness of the ingredients - they were cut freshly and put into the crepes (unlike other restaurants that have the ingredients out in the open). The sauce in the flamingo and Mexican crepe was so delicious! It had just the right amount of spice. Each savoury crepe was filling enough as a meal that we stayed full the rest of the evening. In fact we planned to get 2 sweet crepes after our meal and split it, but we were so full that we decided to come back to try them. We highly recommend this restaurant and if you are getting the salmon crepe, unless you're a huge fan of cheese, ask for no or very little cheese on it. By the end of the crepe the cheese flavor was a bit too overpowering. But it was still super delicious and had a lot of smoked salmon in it. Cool vibe, looks more catered to the younger crowd with games to place. First impression when we walked in and looked at the menu was ready to order and the guy was just standing there in front of the computer. My Boyfriend and I were waiting and waiting. Not even one word, not even a hi one moment. We were about to leave... then the girl took our order. It took awhile for the order to come out. We order two wraps and were expecting it to be small but turns out it was a pretty big wrap. Tasty and filling. Two wraps and a drink came to $19 and some change which is a bit pricey. But overall if no one said hi to us while we were standing in front of the cashier we would have left and gave this place a low star for poor customer service. This crepe restaurant is a neighbourhood dessert gem. Would love to see them get a downtown location soon as they would kill it. They have a unique branding and atmosphere with their pink Flamingo themes. They really did a great job at working with the space they have. The service I received was fantastic, although my French is poor the Algerian guy was so helpful. The crepe itself was delightful and beautifully presented on a board. The candy topping was crushed and sprinkled all over for evenness, not just lazily broken and tossed on. Quality crepe spot- ne dormir...
