From the time we're greeted hello until the time we finished and said goodbye we were treated like family. Great hostess Claudia who made sure we had everything we needed and then some. We were greeted by the owner Joe who gave us a tour of tonight's table d'hote. I chose the table d'hote featuring veal with peppers/ mushrooms and a demi glaze sauce and a large helping of pasta with oil and garlic. The veal melted in my mouth, the mushrooms and peppers cooked to perfection. The pasta i asked for was a plain oil/ garlic linguini. Plain was not the correct verbiage....the pasta was far from it. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with oil and sautéed garlic. Could not keep my fork away from it too long. Prior to the main course I had the house soup - strechitella(work spelling sorry). Dessert was a wonderful chocolate ricotto cake with 2 really hard to beat coffees. There is alot more to talk about but it is a MUST to try. P.s. the house red was delicious....great place to bring anyone and everyone. Congrats to Joe, Claudio and the staff for making us a meal to remember literally blocks from us....which could spell trouble for us trying to keep our same clothes sizes. Try it, you...
