Sushi Shop — Restaurant in Montreal

Worse service ever! Very rude and condescending! I'm a regular at this location and the one in Central station. Last summer, I order my usual poke bowl and was served a half portion. When I asked if the portions changed, the young man answered that if I thought it wasn't enough, it's because I eat too much for a small girl (I'm 39, he must have been 23). So not only he insulted me but he charged me full price for a half portion. I stopped going since. Yesterday. my parents wanted sushi so I ordered for them online. I took coupons I received by mail for free rolls (Lion roll if you spend $35 - bill was $66). The "lady" put her hand in my face and said: no! I asked why, if they were not a participating retailer, she said: next time! I asked her to explain what she meant, she said: you ordered online and already paid. So I said ok but this is not a rebate, it's a free roll so you can't arrange for it? She started screaming and told me to "get out!" I told her she can't talk to me like that, I'm just trying to understand. She continued screaming, said she was very busy and I came in early (5 minutes before my order pick-up time and waited in the back till she called me), that she was done talking to me and wasting her time, at which point I raised my voice too and she said I can't talk to her like that and told me again: go, get out! I don't want to see you! Needless to say, I'm not setting foot there again! I gave them a second chance but I won't be giving them a third one. So...

update 2024.09.26 Last week when we passing by again we ordered 100 pc platters unfortunately its not delicious as before I didn't see old staff probably may be new management or new owner I never go there again, and reduce the rating too. if any body know where old staff two lady staff work (I don't know their name) please share .

When ever I had chance I ordered mostly 100 pc combo from Sushi Shop's Marcel Lauren and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The ordering process was smooth and efficient, with the staff being incredibly polite and accommodating. My order was prepare quickly, and everything was neatly packaged to ensure the food remained fresh and intact. As for the sushi, it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was just as impressive. The rolls were flavorful and expertly crafted, making for a perfect meal home. Our family shushi lover's we passed more than 5 shushi shops to reach there both side more than 70 km as we live in far Vaudreuil- Dorion. We have shushi shop just 2km from my home we tried not only that but other shushi shop too Nothing work except this shushi shop. Specially I have to mentioned the staff the ladies who place our orders very kind and polite with nice smile If ever has chance definitly go again. If you are shushi lover higly reccomnded this shop we have tried all other shushi...

We went last Thursday at 6pm. While waiting in line to order, a man was arguing because he had called in advance to pick up an order and they had given it to someone else. Neither of the two people working spoke english or french very well so that didn't help. He ended up leaving empty handed as the two women refused to understand what happened. Seeing as how the place was filling up and they were only two, to quicken up things, we took a premade combo box and ordered a miso soup and a ramen soup. THE RAMEN WAS MADE IN THE MICROWAVE. THE RAMEN WAS MADE IN THE MICROWAVE. On top of that, it was ice cold. we returned it and she zaps it again for like 10 minutes. IT WAS STILL ICE COLD. We leftit on the table so theyd see how bad it was. But they were so in the juice I'm sure they didn't care and didn't notice. So my suggestion : choose another sushi shop. To the employees: It's a pay day at prime dinner time. You should hire more people. or at least be more prepared and organized. Also please stop making ramen in a microwave. or at least buy a microwave that works.

By the way, i order very often from sushi shop in Laval and Rosemere. So i have nothing against sushi shops, but it's obvious that this one lacks quality product...
