Tasty Arena Lachine — Restaurant in Montreal

Food is always delicious, but the service is awful! Only come here if you're not in a rush ( our dining experience took 2.5 hours for 4 people, where an hour was us waiting for our main dishes) . I ordered an onion soup as an appetizer and took 30 minutes to receive. She sent us a plate of what we thought was mushroom au gratine but it was shrimp, we poked at it to make sure and we sent it back to her.. only to see her bring it to another table ( after we poked at it with out forks). Made a mess up with our sides, instead of apologizing and going to fix the side, she said it'll come a bit later when she had time and never ended up getting them. No apologies for anything that happened in the kitchen.

We only eat here a few times a year, food has always been good.. But there was always something wrong with the service and how they speak to us. It's always a different person so It sounds like they were trained to be like this. Please teach your employees common courtesy and I will consider coming back with my family, we'll stick with Transfer...

I would give it a 2.5 star, but option not available. Went there for breakfast on a quiet Monday, so i didn't experience the slow service that other people experience, considering there were only 3 other customers in the store. I Ordered a spinach feta garlic omelet which came with potatoes, bread, coffee, and fruit for $8.95. Dont be fooled though, they make the quantities look a lot bigger in the menu than what you get. When i got my order the fruit, omelet and potatoes were quite a bit smaller than what we expected.

As for the omelet, i was pretty good considering the price. I guess my only complaint was that the garlic was raw and not fried. Service for me was nothing spectacular, just average. There are definitely a lot better places out there that i would give 4-5 star with greater portions at the same...

Will never go back either. Ever! We were a large group that made reservations weeks in advance. Food was overpriced by about 25% and service was the worst experience I have had in more than 10 years... food arrived about 1.5 hours after we ordered. At some tables, people were finished their main course 15 minutes before others received their microwaved food. Just terrible.

Some advice... you have some things really working well for you. But if you can't handle a reservation... do not take it. It only hurts the perception of the restaurant as a whole and you come off as greedy when you over-commit, over-charge and then cannot deliver.

I will say that the staff were nice though. And the live music entertainment...
