It was pretty decent but I felt more like a resturant rather than a pub. The waitresses were nice and very prompt and courteous.
If it was me, I'd take at least 2 tables out and put a pool table in. Would attract others to become more social. Possibly a small area for live shows like buskers and starting out musicians. Like I said the pub vibe isn't really there. Also the serving counter is well hidden from the front entrance. One key feature of any pub is the sight of the bar itself when you walk in.
The food was amazing, I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes, carrots and coleslaw. Tasted fresh and was served within 8 minutes, high quality I say.
Thier Bugsy Gold Coin beer is actually decent for a one off IPA that has 80% notes of a pilsner but light on the flavor, at the end of the sip is when the IPA flavour hits the back corner of the tongue. It was actually refreshing and not a dry beer so to say.
Good job ladies, you definitely deserve the tip I gave. The staff seemed to enjoy themselves, wile not distracting themselves from the tasks at hand.
Especially the young lady that served me as I sat in the corner alone by the jukebox, the kept her eye on me to make sure I was taken care of.
