My boyfriend, father and I have been extremely frustrated with Virgin and the Mobile Shop after signing a contract on Black Friday in 2022. After receiving our first bill, we found out were told the wrong billing information for the plan. We made the companies aware of the problem and Mobile Shop acknowledged that their customer rep had made a mistake in the information that was given to us, however, both companies pushed the issue further and further back after the 15 and 30 day period to return the phones. We've now spent the last two months calling and emailing both companies and we have gotten very little progress, often passed around to many different reps at Virgin. Mobile Shop has been better at trying to help the situation but it still hasn't gone too far. Finally a Virgin rep was able to sign off and told us to go back to Mobile Shop to return the phones for processing. My boyfriend and I went to Mobile Shop tonight, the supervisor was aware that we were coming. She was busy with another customer and that's fine but there was no acknowledgement. We waited an hour before we decided to leave and that's when she said sorry. It would've been better customer service had she been up front with us and told us that she was in the middle of an appointment and that it would be X amount of time and we would've chosen to come back another time rather than standing around. Mobile Shop should also have a clock to indicate the wait time when a customer service rep is busy. It's been over 2 months and it's as though they want us so disgruntled about the delay in the process that we give up and just keep the phones/plan that we were misled on. Read moreThey were great when they wanted to sell me the phone but after a few weeks when I didn't get the rebates as promised I was told that there was a glitch when it was processed and they would call me. I waited a week and called them. I got told that the person I dealt with was on their 10 min break and she would call me back. It's been another week and I still haven't been contacted. I've called numerous times. I understand that glitches happen but let's fix it. It is going to cost me$360 over the course of my contract. If I could leave a lower score I would. Read moreIf I could give 10 stars I would! Most amazing place to deal within Moose Jaw when it comes to your cell phone. Tushar is so amazing, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. I had a problem with the network from a company I was with but still on contract for 4 more months. After not having a phone line for 4 days, so frustrated I went to see what these guys could do. I was able to pay out my contract and go with a new company. In the long run I'll be paying less with the new company, however I wouldn't have known this on my own!
