Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Moosomin

Service two cause it was decently quick but atmosphere withe the two girls that we’re working they were glaring at myself, my husband and our child. From the get-go before we even ordered. I didn’t order because I was feeling a little under the weather because I’m pregnant. But we did order a meal from my husband and as well as we ordered a kids meal for our son. We live in Wapella, so we finished our running around in moosomin and stopped in to purchase it then left. As we got home, I proceeded to get my sons burger ready so I was going to cut it in half for him so it was smaller for him to hold. But proceeded to see that the burger wasn’t even wrapped. The wrapping was at the bottom of the bag and the burger was sitting on top of his fries so clearly they didn’t wrap it whatsoever. They just threw the wrapping in there. I’m not too impressed by that but whatever proceeded to grab the burger and my sons fries out of the bag along with his apple juice well to my surprise, when I went to grab his fries, they were cold and hard. So my son wasn’t able to eat that then I proceeded to grab his burger which for some reason had pink spots all along side not have a burger should look if it’s cooked. I proceeded to show my husband thinking maybe I’m just overthinking it and I my husband is more of a burger cooker than I am anyways, he told me too cut it in half and see what it looks like in the middle. Well, right away, our faces dropped because it was pink. I thought it would be nice to be able to pick something up for my family even though I wasn’t feeling good but to my surprise, I couldn’t even feed my son at for a little surprise supper anyways it had to be trashed. Good food, treats, and staff. Quite the fine establishment in that regard!

But one things for sure, their parking lot is ATROCIOUS. So bumpy! If you value your car in any capacity, please just come in from the back. Do not turn in from the paved road. You will mess your car up.

The other day, I got some ice cream here with my mom. We had just spent the morning roaming moosomin, her running errands, and me shuttling her around in my car. All was well, until I pulled into here. Pulled into the parking lot, and it was like a bucking bronco. My car violently shaking and launching, violently throwing us around the cabin. I think sometimes, we even were levitating off our seats, it was that bad. We weren't even going fast. I parked, and we went in. Had some good food, then left. The moment I started to drive my car, I knew something was wrong. My car was growling loudly, shuddering and shaking violently every time I moved, and I kept having my cabin floor violently slammed into by something. I limped it home like this, and it was horrifying. The scariest ride home I have ever had.

When we got home, my Dad took a look at it (one of his many skills was being a mechanic). Turns out, that parking lot here was so violent, it busted all my lower control arms. They now need to...

Dairy Queen Moosomin is such an amazing place—it’s truly a staple in town. I always enjoy not just the ice cream, but also the burgers and chicken fingers. (Not to mention dilly bars too!) The staff are consistently friendly and helpful, which makes every visit a great experience.

I especially want to recognize Peter, Isla, Dylan, and Carson for their outstanding service. They’re incredibly friendly, hardworking, and attentive, always remembering regular customers and their orders. Their dedication and positive attitude make a real difference, and I truly believe they deserve a raise for the fantastic work they do.
