Coming from the Middle East, eating shawarmas are no stranger to me. Ordered 7 shawarmas today for my family who are all regular buyers. Here’s some feedback and thoughts.
Pros: The chicken is tasty, customer service is excellent, the interior is nice and the ingredients taste fresh. I especially liked that the chicken was cut small and not dry and big like some places.
Cons: The fact that they have the garlic sauce in a squirt bottle means it was watered down and not traditionally blended with lots of garlic and most likely has another watery ingredient like lemon or water to make it easier to squirt from the bottle. Yes more efficient, but not a strong enough garlic flavour from thick garlic paste traditionally used.
The shawarma itself is small and not as big as the ones you get in Toronto or Ottawa where the population of customers are larger. It is the size of a hand and should be larger for that price.
I think that 7 orders at once may have been overwhelming but one thing that I noticed and tasted was that when ingredients were being placed in the shawarma they were not being spread out nice like like at subway. Instead they were being quickly dropped into each wrap. For ingredients like lettuce it doesn’t need much attention. But for the people I bought and “everything” shawarma for, they could taste peppers only on one side all clumped together.
Also I understand a place like Alliston not many people will buy shawarmas so having it freshly cut on a turning rotisserie will dry out the meat with less customers but once business increases this would be nice to see.
Overall, we love this franchise and will continue to buy here, thank you for amazing quality, taste...

I always get the family dinner for 3 - its enough to feed my family of 4 plus have left overs for the following day. The meat is seasoned perfect, the falafel is moist and great tasting (not dry) and my hubby who hated all falafels he tried in the past likes Edens that tells you alot because he is a picky eater. Rice is great tasting again not dry. Last but not least the Garlic sauce is the BEST in order to accompany shawarma you need a good tasting garlic sauce and the new dill sauce is to die for.
Lastly I tried all the shawarma places in town lazeez im not to impressed with there garlic sauce its like eating seasoned mayo yuck - and Osmows lets not even go there food was horrible. In conclusion Eden Grill is my go to shawarma place in town.
Oh and the reviewer below me is probably a fake review I see a complaint about business hours not the food. Besides its not healthy eating really late at night. Eden Grill...
Read morei wish i worked here so i can eat all day. you can safely bet that their drinks are always fresh. The food is made upon request, fresh and never microwaved unlike the cold, soggy and God knows how old food my wife serves me at home. The owners are down-to-earth people and treated me with the respect i've been looking for all my life. finally, an establishment that allows me to order what i want, how i want it and why i want it without calling the cops. The washroom was so clean that I didn't even want to use it. I decided to pee in my pants because the washroom was too good for my kind...i didn't want to dishonour the cleanliness of the washroom by pulling out my shame so kept it tucked in. So, there i was enjoying the single most greatest day of life with a chicken shawarma wrap and it dawned on me...i have meaning to my life now. I don't normally leave good reviews - you can check my past reviews - but this place is special. and i'm not just saying...
