I came to this location last night looking g to grab a slice on my way home after a very long night. It was around 8:30 when I walked into the door. There was a single individual working behind the counter and it took him about a solid 2 minutes to even acknowledge my existence.
I took a look at the slices available, of which there was 6. A single meatlovers, a single peperoni, one veggie, one Hawaiian and two cheese. All of them looked very dry and old. Now to be clear, I used to work at this location and have worked at many restaurants and pizzarias over the years and know much about what goes on behind the counter at places like this. I asked the individual behind the counter (an older guy who was most likely middle eastern, which I only mention because of what im assuming was a language barrier) how long have the slices been sitting in the display, he looked at me like a deer in the headlights. So I asked again, slowly and clearer this time, only to get the same look once more. So I asked a third time and pointed at the clock to indicate "time" he shook his head at me and gave me a look that said "a long time......"
He then proceeds to not answer my question but tell me the names of the slices available. When I pressed him once more for the length of time the slices have been sitting, he tells me "maybe more than 3 hours". Now I understand that it was later in the evening and slices most likely wouldn't be fresh, but I have no doubt in my mind that those slices were easily 5 to 6 hours old. The front of them had curled up and the cheese was peeling off of the pizzas. I can honestly say that there were some of the most unappealing slices of pizza I have ever seen. I've seen pizza pizza slices that looked better than these sorry excuses for "food".
All in all, this location has gone downhill so incredibly fast after being sold by the original owner whom I worked for. Her standards for the employees, food and cleanliness was remarkable. The new owner obviously couldn't care less. Selling old and dried up slices and lying about them to boot. Truly disappointing to see the incredible decline in quality and care.
Don't waste your money here. They don't care about the quality or the customer. Spend your hard earned money in a place that actually cares about the quality of the food and the customer experience they provide. This location used to be like this, now they only care about making what little profit they can with disdain for their...
Read moreWe called for a pizza to be delivered for 5 pm, fast forward about an hour and 15 minutes we call to see what the hold up is. After waiting 10 mins on hold we finally get through to a real person. They tell us the driver is getting ready to leave, & that they’re on their way. Keep in mind the store is a 6 min drive. Another 30 mins go by so we call again, 15-20 mins on hold and we tell the girl who picks up that we are VERY frustrated and we want our money back. She tells us that the driver is getting ready to leave. I tell her if the pizzas not here within 5 minutes I want a full refund for my order. We hang up, another 10 mins to by, give another call and they finally tell us they’ll refund us and the pizza should be here shortly (heard that lie before). Finally to top it all off, the delivery guy gets here and guess what, he forgot a bottle of Pepsi! He seemed very apologetic and sincere, however, he told us he’d come back with the Pepsi but he never returned. The customer service is completely laughable.
To summarize, we waited 2 - 2.5 hours for a pizza. Was lied to about the wait time and how they’re drivers were “on their way” and once the delivery guy came to deliver our food, he forgot one of the drinks, told us he’d be back and never came back. Thank god we were refunded.
I warn you to stay away from at least this location, go to Dominos or Gino’s. Better pizza and 1000x...
Read moreI am a long time customer of this location and got to know the previous owner well. Today I ordered an x-large and a large pizza for Father's Day and went to pick it up at the Newmarket location. When I got home I opened the box to find that the large cheese pizza was actually a medium pizza in a large box. Of course, cut into 10 tiny slices to hide the mistake. So I called Pizzaville customer service and explained the situation to the rep. First thing he asks me is if the 2 boxes were the same size...lol...really? Then when I laughed and said no, he put me on hold for about 5 minutes and then came back and said he had called the store manager. The manager had told him that he didn't make a mistake but would make me a small pizza for me to pick up but he really doesn't have to do it for me. I laughed again and refused the small pizza. I called Pizzaville customer service to let them know that this location is being deceitful. Instead, it appears the corporation doesn't care.
When Shane owned the place, quality and customer service was number one. I will not be ordering from...
