Hunny Benny Chicken Plus (Newmarket) — Restaurant in Newmarket

First time there. It was delicious. And fair prices for the portions and good tasting food. We had the chicken, Real mashed potatoes, gravy and the best milk shakes. Kawartha ice cream they use, the best, in the shakes. No one uses real potatoes, anymore, as it's usually instant. The quality of the food was awesome. We will definitely be back. The chicken wasn't greasy, sure a bit, but anything deep fried is. Not like other places. Too greasy. It's our chicken go to place, now. I can't say enough good things about it. Great customer service too. Very friendly. Thanks for everything. And the chicken I'm already craving for. 👍 Up. (Best tasting chicken). Well, went back the other day. (Friday May 4 @ 4:30 pm). Not so happy this time. Prices went up in under weeks. And charged me $1.50 extra, per piece, of dark meat. First of all, dark meat is always cheaper. White meat is more. It's a fact. Not happy at all. And it was very greasy this time. Our First visit was amazing. The staff this past Friday were not very friendly. So we're done. As it cost me so much more this time. A RIP Off. 😵. 😓. I was so shocked by this. It was like being in a totally different place. I just won't pay that much per piece. It added up. Costing me an extra $12 bucks or more. So much for ordering a set priced combo. No Xtra...

Sooo, Little Bros. is now Chucks Chicken. Still waiting on the signage, but the food has changed. Totally changed. First, I have to rave about the "wedge" poutine. It's amazing!! M* B** taters, with Little Brothers fry coating and gravy, cheese curds...OMG!!! More gravy would be nice, but otherwise, AMAZING!!!!

The chicken though, to crunchy for me. I miss the steamed buns and softer chicken. Love the amount of mayo and lettuce...But, the pickles, I missed them...and would prefer them on top or to the side. The crunch of the breading is again, to much for me and I find I have to leave it and reheat it later to make it work for me.

Glad to have the onion rings back and the chicken bites are ok. Missing the corn though.

Do not like the wraps being done in a whole wheat wrap either.

Hopefully they bring back, alter or get rid of some things but....

I will totally be back for that wedge poutine but hope some things change or gets...

Had lunch here with a couple family members. Their chicken is quite good surprisingly. Was unfortunately expecting like KFC kind, but was much much happier with what they made. Not greasy and very flavorful. Their pulled pork sandwich was good as well, with their coleslaw inside. Quiet place, clean, staff was friendly enough and actually was very accommodating. My reason for 3 stars and my only complaint; which I find is actually a concern for the staff, is the lighting was close to inexistent. Yes there are large windows, but they do not give enough light. It would have been nicer to have had a properly lit restaurant, while I was eating with family.
