Sunset Grill — Restaurant in Newmarket

I have visited this location often in the past . The sunset in aurora is a closer location but we always travel to this location because we like this location . But the last few times this place has been horrible . Last time we ordered pancake one was missing and the other two were not cooked . So I contacted the store instead of just writing a bad review . Spoke to Lucy and she apologized and said next time we order pancakes she will give us free pancakes . So we got the pancake and agin they were not cooked but I didn’t complain and let it go . So today November 7,2021 we decided to give them another try . We waited so long for our food which was understandable because they were very busy . But when we received our order the food was burnt . The pancake was burnt and the bacon. I called the restaurant and spoke to Lucy again . Honestly being busy is not an excuse to serve burnt or uncooked food . To the workers don’t serve food that you wouldn’t eat or serve to your family . Common courtesy Would you like to eat food that is burnt ? No, I thought so . Remember that u are open because of loyal customers like us . Sunset 🌅 Grill is a lovely 😊 place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city 🏙️ in spite of being in the city 🌃. There’s an ample parking 🅿️ space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. 

The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following 🆙. The food 🍱 🍲 🥘 menu is great 👍 and there are many choices to choose from and they also offer quite a lot of small bites options to choose from.

I had called two weeks ahead to book a breakfast for 16 people.My group was in a 5 km walk that morning so I wanted to ensure we had somewhere to go right after. Res ervations were made and the manager took my number in case of any issues. Our party arrived 10 minutes ahead of our reservation and when I told the waitress our party name she looked shocked. She ran to the back to speak to the manager and they both went behind the kitchen to chat. They were pointing into the restaurant and the manager shrugged his shoulders. No one came back to talk to us and they both were clearly avoiding me. As I looked around there was another large party that seemed to have been recently seated. No one bothered to come to us or help us. We were clearly ignored. Disappointing that no one came to talk to me or help us out. After 10 minutes we left. Will never be going to that restaurant again.
