Oct 2023. I think this is under new management. Tried to order fries and curry. Ownership said okay but it’s going to be based on whatever the curry dish is they have on the menu and that will be $17. I said that’s insulting so ordered poutine instead. Frozen fries and they mixed some shredded cheddar in there with the cheese curds. Server was nice but won’t be coming back here.

Was going down memory lane looking at my reviews and updating my review after 'ownership response'. Of which I think I read originally and I think management rewrote, reposted and softened their original response.

To clarify, if you don't want to make me curry and fries, that's your prerogative. But don't make up absurd prices for a substitution and don't assume your customer is going to be dumb enough to not take issue with that absurd logic. Nobody told me that if I order the curry you swap rice for fries and you get pita and a salad. Server just simply said she enquired and the powers that be said straight curry and fries is $17. Also I didn't want a salad and pita at the time. Think outside the box and maybe charge the same for fries and curry as fries and gravy. Everyone would have walked away happy and I wouldn't be giving a 1 star review.

Hold yourselves accountable, don't try to jam customers and then furthermore deny it with toddler level...

We have not visited since before the pandemic began, but we used to think of it as a good place for liver and onions. That has since changed. We visited today and were served our liver and onions cold. We sent the food back and when it came back we were asked to check if it was hot. We obliged, but the plate had been microwaved and the mashed potatoes scalded my mouth. The liver had been microwaved as well and became tough and mealey. They seem to be moving away from the previous menu and beer selection, aiming for a more general sports bar feel -which is fine. The burgers my family had were okay, same with the fries. Nothing special, but okay. Overall, we won't be returning, but it looks like they have a decent deal on wings after 9pm for people looking to watch a game. Stick to the easy to make meals and I think you should be fine. Good for a night out with the guys at a bar. Not a good place to...

This is becoming one of my favorite places to go.

The food is great! Just came for dinner and had a wonderful sandwich. It was hard to decide to have wings (it was wing night) or the sandwich. I'm glad I chose the sandwich. I've eaten here many times and every meal has been great. If you like onion rings, you have to try them here!

The service is amazing. I have had many different servers. Last night and tonight, it was Rebecca, and she is amazing.
