Wild Wing — Restaurant in Newmarket

Ordered from Wild Wing on Leslie and had a very disappointing experience. Ordered Gar-par and wings looked like they just threw some ceaser dressing on them, no parm or any other flavour at all. Honey garlic wasn't very flavourful and lacking on the sauce. Fries were dry and not enjoyable. Feel pretty gross after eating them and got sick after. Contacted the restaurant to let them know about my experience and was told "thank you for your concern". Would not go back and would not recommend. Not a big deal, but I always find it weird when restaurants don't give back small change. He owed me 5 cents, and said "this is great, thank you" so I just took that as he wasn't giving me it back. Not that I care about the 5 cents, it's just that change should always be given

Update: Dropping my review to ONE STAR after seeing the owners reply, i even said it was not a big deal but CALLING ME A LIAR made it a big deal. I don't need a refund, it just shouldn't have happened to begin with

Adding AWFUL customer service, I had contacted them before posting this reply to give them the benefit of the doubt and see how their customer service was.Why would I lie about this 5 cents? Unfortunately I was TOLD TO PAY CASH "for this deal" and was not provided a receipt.

I came at 7pm on March 17th, was not given a receipt. I was told my order cost $24.69 (but hey, I was never given a receipt so I can't confirm) and I gave a $20, two toonies and 3 quarters for $24.75. Check your cameras but not engaging with a horrible business like...

This place is horrendous. Everything about it was bad I will not return.

When we walked in it smelled of a porta potty- but we thought to give them the benefit of the doubt. There is one person working so service is very slow. The menus and condiments on the table haven’t been wiped down for what looks like 5 years. Everything is sticky. The bathrooms were equally disgusting with toilets that were unflushed and the paint peeling off the walls.

They cheaped out on the food big time. I pound of wings usually comes with a side of fries and 2-4 veggies. We only got a plate of veggies for the table with 5 things on even though we ordered a single and 2 Triple’s. On top of that I got 7 sad looking wings with my “pound” they were so tiny. At other locations I usually can’t finish my whole portion and here I felt like I needed to order more. The water was tap water and it tasted like old pipes. 1/4 of my fries were stone cold like they forgot to add my portion to the fryer as well.

If you want a real would wing experience visit one of the 2 locations in Barrie. It’s worth the drive...

OH MY DAYS THE WINGS, THE SERVICE TEN OUT OF TEN! IT WAS SO GOOD OMG I AM STILL THINKING ABOUT IT HOURS LATER. I WENT TO WILD WINGS AND I WAS NOT READY FOR HOW AMAZING EVERYTHING WAS FROM THE MOMENT I WALKED IN I WAS GREETED WITH A SMILE AND SEATED RIGHT AWAY THE ENERGY WAS LIVELY THE VIBES WERE IMMACULATE AND THE SMELL OF THOSE WINGS HIT ME IMMEDIATELY I ORDERED A VARIETY OF FLAVORS AND EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS A HIT CRISPY ON THE OUTSIDE JUICY ON THE INSIDE SEASONED TO PERFECTION AND THE SAUCES WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD I COULD NOT EVEN PICK A FAVORITE BECAUSE THEY WERE ALL THAT GOOD THE STAFF DESERVE A SHOUTOUT TOO THEY WERE SO FRIENDLY ATTENTIVE AND GENUINELY CARED ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE THEY KEPT CHECKING IN WITHOUT BEING OVERBEARING MADE GREAT RECOMMENDATIONS AND MADE US FEEL WELCOME THE ENTIRE TIME I HAVE BEEN TO MANY WING SPOTS BUT THIS ONE STANDS OUT FOR BOTH THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE I WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK AND BRINGING FRIENDS WITH ME WILD WINGS YOU HAVE EARNED A LOYAL CUSTOMER THANK YOU FOR AN...
