A&W Canada — Restaurant in Nipawin

This place is not "fast food." They must have to grow and harvest all ingredients including slaughtering the cow to grind beef after each order as it took that long to get a teen burger combo.

Either that or they are so fast in the kitchen it creates a time warp where time slows at critical mass approaching light speed and seconds inside results in years passing to an outside observer.

Fun fact the washroom with one toilet was missing the toilet seat and instead of replacing it there was just a sign saying, "Sorry someone stole the toilet seat." Longest two minutes of my life trying to hover and take a dump, sweating bullets while not falling into the urine stained bowl. I hope that the toilet seat is working out for whoever needed a public toilet seat that badly.

Overall, the A&W here was quite an experience and fond memory at this location that my wife and I discuss often while travelling...

July 28 2024 Was hungry and wanted A&W due to dietary things. We went to pay and their debit machine was down. Tried over 5 times on 2 cards only to be reprimanded saying our card was declined when it kept saying “timed out”. We didn’t have cash and DID NOT get our food, even complimentary due to machine issues, so we went to Dairy Queen down the road instead. Terrible customer service and management is awful. As a business owner myself, I would do training with your staff for better customer service. It comes down to the owner and management and this location sucks for service. I believe always doing the right thing and having a voice. We live in a world with alot of discrimination and no matter how much you want to believe a company when they day they don't stand for it, it's a lie. Maybe not every company, but it exists here and that is how I feel. You lost a great employee yesterday and a kind and caring human being. You couldn't be bothered to listen to what she had to say. I think that is unfair and just says alot about the people who are representing this...
